Popu;ation control is an evil and vain attempt to thwart the will of God who made the earth for us his children. Started by jealous people that will never get bodies because they rebelled before they were born.

WTF?, are you telling me that birthcontrol was initiated by guys who are dead, miscarriages or entities...............who were never conceived?. How did they come to exist, to begin with? And by the way, if God made the Earth for us, why did he make hurricanes, earthquakes or volcanoes, for example, so that we can't live in peace?. Moreover, why did he designed it to become INHABITABLE if we polluted it too much or wasted all its resources?
alcohol doesn't make your statements more right, however it does explain why they are stupid.
Lay off the booze, or share.
So if you rebel before you're born, your body is taken away as punishment but you can still run a conspiracy.
Just curious - do those who rebel before they're born have the mental abilities of a three month fetus or do the unborn lose their adult mental capacities at the moment of birth?
So, I assume you would be fine with the planet being overrun with more humans than could be reasonably kept fed and happy, unable to eat other humans or kill them while alive, waiting to die out due to plague and famine. A lot of foresight on your part. And who are these people that are never getting bodies? Is it g-g-g-ghosts!?
But if everything happens according to God's will, then God plans every abortion, rape, and murder.
And furthermore, God plans every act of humanity, and I submit to you that it is God's will that we conserve natural resources by restraining our population.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Over.
Edit: Check out the thread of comments this came from. It's a virtual menangerie of fruitcakery, and very, very frightening.
So, taking care of the people we DO have by not stressing our support systems to the breaking point with too many mouths to feed is a bad thing?
Hell, we can barely feed everybody on the planet adequately, and you want to make MORE mouths to feed?
Um, what? There is absolutely no logic here. Not even a complete thought or flow of reasoning. It seems to me that you are saying the unborn are behind the idea of population control.
Fundies get more magical every day.
Then your god is evil, because, according to your bible, god was the paragon of population control. Floods, plagues, genocide... the list goes on and on.
If they never get bodies, ergo, they are not corpuscular, ergo "they" couldn't interact with our world , ergo they couldn't start fuck all.
fundamentalists delenda est
...And rebellion is innately evil why again? It would depend more than a little on what the rebel wants to be changed.
Maybe the neverborn rebels are a major source of demonic troops to him. I suppose that, if the sharp-liners can think that the unborn have a mind even before detectable brainwaves, then they're capable of thinking, and so perhaps grave rebellion. (Wait'll they run into LaHaye et al.)
mvalley, for your kind consideration: the Council of Macon in 585 declared belief in the pre-existence of souls to be anathema, contrary to Scripture and incompatible with the Christian faith, IOW a heresy. On a related note, some guy called Torquemada wants to have a few words with you.
The hell...? How can one rebel in utero?
Ever wonder how the batshit neo-pentecostal/faith-healer/Assemblies of God/"illness is demonic influence" set explain people being born with learning and behavioral disabilities?
Yup. In utero sin. They really are that batshit.
I think he is referring to getting new bodies after Judgment Day, which they will then use in heaven (note, closer to the bible/medieval beliefs than the idea of the rapture). At least thats all I can think of with makes sense.
@ Safaraz
That's pretty much the way I read his word salad, too.
I find it amusing that the fundies can't even agree on the basic tenets of their fundydom. Here you have someone who seems to be saying that because someone 'rebelled before they were born' (and how the fuck is that possible?), they will never get to heaven. What happened to the doctrine of salvation through grace (i.e. repent and accept Christ to be 'saved'), the rest are pushing?
Their End Times are shaping up to be one hell of a fundy fight! Prepare to be entertained as they eventually turn on each other and finally stop haranguing the rest of us.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
