For instance, atheists believe there’s no God.
No, we don't believe there IS a god... there's a bit of a difference, it might seem minor to you, but the difference is there.
But they believe in a Higher Being,
We do???? Hmmmm. First I've heard of it. Did someone forget to send me a memo again?
whatever it may be, it’s human nature.
Well, if you consider a chocolate chocolate chip brownie, warmed and drizzled with chocolate syrup and served with vanilla ice cream as "human nature".. then perhaps I'll agree with you... because that's the only "higher being" that I recognize. OH.. that and House MD.
What do you atheists say when you’re sick and you want help from a Higher Being?
Well, when I'm sick I say... "hey, I'm sick". I don't want or need help from an imaginary being.
Be it the universe, or a candle,
Candles are "higher beings"????
or yourself, or your cousin, or what/whomever?
If I were getting "help" from myself or my cousin... I don't think I would consider it "help" from a "higher being". Strike that... I'm certain that I wouldn't consider it as such.
Really. I would like to know because there’s a time in everyone’s life when bad things happen and you “pray” to somebody/something.
Yeah... that time is past for me. I grew up. I reached the age of reason. I don't pray to imaginary beings anymore. But when I did... I found out that it was a futile practice.
If you’re a scientist do you pray to a beaker, a lab coat, a mathematical equation?
Wow.. you show just how idiotic you actually are. Get an education, will ya? Those who revel in their idiocy really piss me off.
