Christianity is my relationship with Jesus, my savior, not a religion... its almost a offensive to be called a religion.

truly free will had messed everything up for us... without free will Adam and Eve would have been perfect which would have made us perfect.

You do know he's not gonna sleep with you, right?
And as far as Adam and Eve, a good start probably would have been if they weren't set up to fail, right? After all "He" does know everything, doesn't he?
"Christianity is my relationship with Jesus, my savior, not a religion... its almost a offensive to be called a religion ."
It's almost fucking offensive that you've never picked up a dictionary before and looked up the meaning of 'religion'.
So, you're saying god screwed up when he created man?
It's always fun to laugh at fundies trying to use logic and all, but shit like this (Free will is wrong!!!) really scares the crap out of me.
It seems to me that saying you have a "relationship, not a religion" is like watching a Geico commercial and saying "Oh no, I didn't hear of them from the commercial, I have the testimonial from a gecko."
Here's another very compelling argument against Christianity: is free will more important than good verses evil? Apparently God thought that it was more important for people to have this "choice" based solely on faith and to suffer through life and most likely afterlife rather than have things be good and perfect.
I've never been able to wrap my head around that concept of why a perfect God would even be able to create a scenario that leads to imperfection...
And if we were all perfect, it'd be damn BORING!
Oh, and Christianity *is* a religion.
Christianity is my relationship with Jesus, my savior, not a religion... its almost a offensive to be called a religion.
I love these Christianity Is Not A Religion people. I enjoy telling them that if that's the case their church can jolly well cough up their back taxes.
It's really somewhat amusing to see them claiming that their beliefs aren't what they truly are; a religion.
Atheism is not a religion, it's a personal relationship with reality.

“Christianity is my relationship with Jesus, my savior, not a religion... its almost a offensive to be called a religion.”
Almost? Let me try.
It’s a religion.
It meets the definition of religion, and a lot better than evolutionary theory does.
It has all the marks of a religion.
It has the tax benefits reserved for a religion.
There are like 5000 sects and schisms and traditions within Christainity, do you think none of those are religions? Well, maybe. For all that you’ll say Catholics and Mormons aren’t Christains, you’ll still count them when you try to claim the US is a Christain nation that’s mostly Christain as far as religions go.
At any attempt to control of censor any flavor of Christainity, or Christain theology, or policy, people are quick to scream religious liberty of their religion.
Your services are listed in the religious section of the paper.
If anyone published a list of the active religions in the United States, and they left out Christainity, you’d claim persecution of your religion.
“truly free will had messed everything up for us... without free will Adam and Eve would have been perfect which would have made us perfect.”
If Adam and Woman hadn’t gone and had The Fall, we would not have been MADE.
And I’m not sure how much free will they had. They could not tell right-from-wrong, but were still held accountable for their wrongs. Seems like they’re the victims in that story.
Confused?
