The Christian worldview alone is where reason and science flourish without being strangled by superstition or corrupted by cults, political or otherwise.

"The Christian worldview alone is where reason and science flourish..."
"reason and science"? You mean that exemplified by Kent/Eric Hovind, Ray Comfort/Kurt Cameron, and Ken Ham?
Yup, JCW, tell that to Galileo Galilei,Giordano Bruno, Nicolaus Copernicus, Hypatia and on and on.
Where religion (any religion) florishes, science must therefore hide.
Right, because the middle east circa 1000 CE, which was very islamic, totally strangled science, being home to the father of modern science and all.
By "reason" he means Christian apologetics.
By "science" he means Creation Science.
By "cults, political and otherwise", he means evolution, global warming, humanism, secularism, feminism, gay civil rights, and liberalism (whatever that means this week). Also Satanism, atheism, and Islam, all of which are identical to each other and previous terms.
See? Perfectly logical.

Moral: 'Cults', you say Johnny-boy? Christian Science. Jehovah's Witlesses.
'The Church of Christ, Scientist (a.k.a. Christian Science) This denomination promotes healing of physical and mental illnesses and disorders through prayer.'
And the science of Prayer & Faith is just regenerating all those with missing limbs around the world, eh? To the extent that there'll be no need to have the Rio De Janeiro & Pyeongchang Winter Paralympics in 2016/18 respectively, amirite?! Why, those parctitioners of 'Healing through Prayer' have all but won those Nobel Prizes, have they not...?! [/hyper-sarcasm]
Yeah. There's light-years of difference between Christian Science & Jehovah's Witlesses, yessiree! [/hyper-sarcasm II]
Christian response to the Plague: Pope Gregory leads a procession around Rome, carrying a picture of the Virgin
Scientific response to the Plague: $5 worth of streptomycin.
@Anon-e-moose
... Christian Science ... promotes healing of ... mental illnesses through prayer.'
Is this like fighting fire with fire?
