So, your right to First Amendment freedoms would also be subject to votes, right? if enough people don’t like Christainity, we can get the government to reflect that. same for your 2nd Amendment rights, subject to voter approval…

Well, if the Government is protecting rights, then them their rights are not subject to the approval or disapproval of voters.

I support native tribes using their own language, owning their own lands, policing their own casinos, but if they’re HARMINg someone, then the tradition is not sacrosanct.
