Yeah, all homosexuals rape children and tattoo children doing dances on their face. At any given moment, they have pictures of naked children hidden on their person.
Puh-lease. Can't you just accept that a FICTIONAL character was gay? And accept that they're the same damn person, gay or straight?
No? Didn't think so.
I'd guess you mean that Grindlewald was a friend of Dumbledore's in his childhood...fighting him sort of leads one to assume the wasn't a connection there (I'd have to re-read, but I'm almost sure Dumbledore defeated but did not kill him). In any case, homosexuality and pedophilia are nto in any way linked. Feel free to address any issues you may have with Dumbledore's relationships with other adult male characters in the books, however, children are generally off limits given the slim chances of an adult homosexual male being attracted to male children.
Riiiight.
Ms Rowling's next project might involve the harcore fundamentalist muggles and their fruitless eternal war against reality.
Then again, I'm sure she has better worlds to explore.
I was shocked when I found out that Dumbledore was homosexual, but I laughed, too. I guess it is kind of sudden, but as a devoted HP fan, I don't mind it at all.
You are a bloody prat, dannyrob15. Grow up.
I'll wait to see what happens when the sharp-liners realize that Rowling depicted Dumbledore as essentially having entered Heaven...
In other words, obliquely declaring that homosexuality is NOT a mortal sin.
Should be interesting...
Dude, did any of this ever happen in the books?
No.
It didn't happen. Being gay is just a very minor character trait of Dumbledore's- and wasn't mentioned in the series since it bears NO IMPORTANCE WHATSOEVER to the plotline. He's exactly the same character, gay or not.
Why does his sexuality matter, like, at all?
Anti-gay rhetoric... against DUMBLEDORE? Jebus Christ. *facepalm*
Actually, this isn't all that out of the ordinary. I've seen many other (adolescent, female) people on the Internet who were obsessed with male fictional characters being gay.

I wasn't the least bit surprised when I read that Rowling thought of Dumbledore as gay. When one reads his letter to Grindlewald in the last book, it's rather obvious that he felt a very strong connection with Gellert as a kid. He didn't kill Grindlewald, he waited as long as he could and then defeated him so that they could put him in jail.
If he ever raped Harry, it would be in one of the books, as that is the only place that they both exist, stupid.
Gay people are about 10 percent of the population, always have been, always will be. Their agenda, their goal is to be tolerated and accepted. That is all.
If Dumbledore was a pedo, you'd think they would've caught him in the 50+ years he was at Hogwarts. But Dumbledore isn't Jimmy Savile, nor is he a pedo--he's just gay. And he doesn't believe in taking pictures, either, he has that magical bowl for that, anyway.
“i don't appreciate this suddeness for dumbly to be gay.”
What suddenness? She revealed it. And it was apparently almsot always in her mind, so it’s not like a sudden character reversal.
Sulu being gay in the remake was a bit sudden, but not a violation of anything preceding. Uhura or Scotty turning gay would be troublesome.
“i will look at dumbly's dusty face and think: did he ever rape harry?”
It’s a fictional character. If Rowling didn’t write it, it didn’t happen. Of course YOU can write your fanfiction however you want.
“did he take pics of harry and hide them in his 50 foot long beard?”
Spent a lot of time roughing out this fanfic, haven’t you?
‘what if he shaved his whiskers off? would there be a tatoo of harry doing the samba?”
In Potter’s World, the tattoo would probably dance to whatever music you were hearing. Have you actually read the books?
“gay ppl.”
Fact.
“are taking over the world. but we will stand and fight.”
You’re picking a fight with a fictional character….and writing graphic fanfic of him.
You’re already taken over…
Confused?
