I think radical feminism may be the worst ideology an America today. It is VERY anti-family and encourages lesbianism.

I'm all for encouraging lesbianism. >D There are too few other ladies to pick from the way things are now.
Also, fail for thinking feminists are anti-family.
Define "radical feminism" please.
Do you mean receiving equal pay for work of equal value? I wouldn't call that radical.
Do you mean the right to safe, clean, clinical abortions? I wouldn't call that radical.
Do you mean women who do not want to be objectified? That's not radical, that's courtesy and respect.
Many families require that both spouses work, if they are to be able to afford the financial costs of raising a family. Most working women would agree that those three questions are the core of feminism. Lesbianism has NOTHING to do with feminism.
If J.J. is a man, he is probably either an overbearing little shit, or some teenager who can't get laid.
If JJ is a woman, I fear for the fate of my grandchildren.
Want to throw another strawman in that word soup, JJ?
@JonathanE: You forgot ending rape and violence against women. That's not radical, either.
Pat Robertson, is that you?
Oh, it's just a sock puppet.
There's nothing political about being homosexual.
The Republicans are doing their damnedest to make all sexuality political. As it stands, you can't really vote for huge corporate giveaways and monopolistic mergers without also voting for the criminalization of homosexuality.
Considering the holey babble gives etiquette instructions for marrying a rapist, talks about stoning your children if they disobey, and has that whole bit about being "unequally yoked" that get dragged out regarding atheist/theist couples, I think it's cornered the market on being "anti-family."
@Osiris
Yeah, the fundie "Pro-" crowd tends to have some funky definitions of what they support.
Pro-Life...even if I have to blow a few people/clinics up to make people carry that baby for Jesus!
Pro-Family...unless your family doesn't look like mine. Then we gotta do everything in our power to rip that family apart.
I'm not a fan of radical feminism. Honestly, it seems to read a lot like marxism, with "men" substituted for "bourgeois" and "women" substituted for "proletariat", and yet it practices the exact kind of identity politicking that divides workers from the class struggle.
But compared to shit like christian fundamentalism? There's not even a question.
Real feminism is dead more or less. Now you just hear mostly about the loonies who want men dead or subjugated. Humanism should be the next step. A world full of humanists, theistic and non-theistic, would be awesome.
Ok, good luck trying to explain why, after more than 200 years of feminism, less than 8% of the women are lesbians.
“I think radical feminism may be the worst ideology an America today.”
I’d sooner nominate any ideology that drives one to disown a child. Like a good christain finding out they’re pregnant, or atheist, or gay.
“It is VERY anti-family and encourages lesbianism.”
Huh.
My wife and I are both feminists. We’ve been married since 1987. Raised three boys. And we still have hetero sex.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
