It seems that the more that women decrease their clothing the more the sexual assaults increase, right or wrong? This is fact you can see it for yourself on the statistics. Since this so called sex explosion started in the 60s and when women wore less and less clothing the sexual assault crimes have indeed increased. See for yourself.

Or, it could have something to do with the fact that, since the rest of us have moved beyond blaming the victim, more women are willing to come forward and admit that they were raped today, instead of pretending that it never happened because they were afraid of being seen as a slut.
I like to blame television and radio for the apparent increase of rape. It isn't as if it is happening more than it used to, just that people are more willing to go to the police. And the media report it.
Without the news on television you'd be able to live your life with the knowledge that you never heard of anyone getting raped. How glorious those days must have been, everyone afraid to "come out" because of social stigma and the cases that do get publicity won't be mentioned any further than at the local tea party.
And if, taking into account the likelyhood of women feeling more able to report these incidents, the rate of sexual assault has risen, and it can be proven that women's changing dress is as a result of this, why are we then not examining the way we raise our boys rather than continuing to blame women? If a man cannot stop himself from raping a woman, simply because she's wearing a revealing top, there's something fundamentally wrong with him. Whether that something is as a result of an ultra religious upbringing, abuse, the prevailing culture of his birth, or some other factor, we need to work to eradicate it.
So quit blaming our jubblies; they like the sun.
Actually, rape has decreased something ridiculous like 75% since the 70s, but hey, it's not like The defender of Islam bothered to look "on the statistics." At least, that's what my school's chapter of NOW told me, and they're probably the last organization in the world to have a motive to understate rape.
This is, of course, not to say that rape isn't still a huge problem. Just that the proportion of rapes caused by The defender of Islam's lack of self-control has, since the seventies, increased.
Edit: found this which says it's actually declined 85%. But even if that entire shift were due to a sudden increase in women's likelihood to report it, that still means the poster isn't looking at any "statistics."
"It seems that the more that fundies decrease their IQ the more the sexual assaults increase, right or wrong? This is fact you can see it for yourself on the statistics. Since this so called sex explosion started in the 60s and when fundies had less and less IQ the sexual assault crimes have indeed increased. See for yourself."
Wow, unlike the original post, plugging "fundies" and "IQ" in makes it true.
It seems that the more that women decrease their clothing the more the sexual assaults increase, right or wrong?
Wrong. Young Greek and American women dress just about the same way, and the Greek sexual assault rate is way lower. There's no correlation.
Tahiti has Very little sexual violence, And women walk around almost naked in Tahiti,
Sexual violence is directly tied to sexual repression, and the resulting ignorance and mysogyny.
Please understand that The insanely high rates of rape in Saudi Arabia are found in the most sexualy repressed areas, and are committed by mysogynistic and willfully ignorant NON-men, Usualy against women who are TOTALY covered by multiple layers of clothing.
Yet the rate of rape is actualy declining as women become empowered and learn to take control of their sexuality,
And more women are going public with the truth about rape,,,,
I believe it was Umar, The 4th caliph who said "a man who cannot control his desires is NOT a man"
So maybe if more males learned to be MEN, rape would vanish altogether
So, are you asume that Rwandan women that were raped during war were naked?, or what happened in the Middle Ages, where an entire village could be rampaged like that?, or in South Africa?
Well, then how do you explain the fact that in most primitive, non-Christian tribes where the women go topless (and frequently bottomless) 24 hours a day, the crime of rape is nearly unknown unless it is perpetrated by an outsider?
Shouldn't those naked women be getting raped from sun-up till sun-down by your logic?
Tiny B, there was a popular theory at the time that Jack the Ripper was actually either Satan himself, or a Satan worshiper. So they, too, blamed it on teh debil.
"It seems that the more that women decrease their clothing the more the sexual assaults increase, right or wrong?"
WRONG. The correlation would not prove causation even if it were true; and the facts actually show exactly the opposite of what you seem to think is the case.
You should check on statistics yourself before you try to refer to them as evidence of anything you claim, especially before showing the entire World Wide Web what an idiot you are by not having done so.

Is this still in the same vain as that Australian Muslim cleric who blamed rape on women? Look, if you have no self control then maybe you should be locked up. Even if women walked around completely naked, the thought of raping any of them would not even cross my mind. Would you like to know why? It's because I'm not a sociopath and I have the highest respect for people, especially women, simply because they are a group who are hounded and villified by heartless dipshits like you and your ass-backwards cults. Go fuck yourself already.
Yeah, rape is a 20th and 21st century phenomenon, and no modestly dressed woman has ever been raped.
Face, meet palm.
And war never existed until I saw it on television...
...You fail, and you will not be returning for round two. We do have some lovely parting gifts for you, including a home version of the game of Life. Goodbye, and, thanks for playing.
"It seems that the more that islamic fundies increase the more the sexual assaults increase, right or wrong? This is fact you can see it for yourself on the statistics. Since this so called islamic revival started in the 60s and when muslims were more and more fundie the sexual assault crimes have indeed increased. See for yourself."
Fixed.
Sex crimes increased because women are out and about more and society as a whole isn't attiquitely protecting them.
Women don't need to be sheltered or "protected." What we need is for more men to see us as equal human beings.
It seems that the more that women decrease their clothing the more the sexual assaults increase, right or wrong?
Wrong.
This is fact you can see it for yourself on the statistics.
Crime is decreasing.
Since this so called sex explosion started in the 60s and when women wore less and less clothing the sexual assault crimes have indeed increased.
Actually, no. The rates at which women report sexual assault crimes increased. With women no longer being told it was their fault if they got raped, rape victims actually started reporting the crimes against them.
See for yourself.
You look!
Scroll down to "crimes per 100,000 inhabitants" and look at the "rape" column. Keep in mind, that only covers reported cases of rape. Starting in 1960, you will see a dramatic increase as women start to report the crimes against them and the ugly business of rape comes out of the shadows, followed by a slow but steady decrease as the acceptance of feminism and increased likelihood of rapists being arrested and convicted begins to set in.
@Tiny Bulcher: The fact that those prostitutes were SO asking for it! What, with their sinful lifestyles and disgusting poverty, of course they were asking for a psychopath to murder them and slice them up! Why, he was the agent of God, don't you know? After all, God works in mysterious ways.
Okay, I'm done being sarcastic.
You mean the crime mostly committed by present or past lovers, friends, acquaintances and family members? Clothing has nothing to do with it.
Edit: and skirt shortness actually peaked in 1967.
the "increase" is due to an increase in reporting, rather then an increase in actual sexual assault. Since women who are raped are treated better now then they used to be, they are more willing to admit to it.
Confused?
