Walt Disney's 101 Dalmatians seems to be just an innocent, fun-loving group of puppies, but look again, this time more closely. The 101 Dalmatians story line contains a very cruel Black Witch, Cruella DeVil, whose name literally means Cruel Devil. She attempts classic witchcraft in her attempt to bring these puppies under her control. At this point, we need to point out that no one has done more since World War II to promote Witchcraft and Magic in our children's minds than Walt Disney. Cute characters, one after another, have been shown doing occultic, magical things to and for one another. Story line after story line have featured White and Black Magicians, concocting potions and creating spells, levitating objects, people and animals through the air. And it is made to appear so fun and innocent.

Fantasy. Some people can see it for what it is. Christians obviously can't, or they'd be atheists.
Also, witchcraft isn't what you think it is. It's not hocus pocus, it's more along the lines of prayer ritual, you know, like what you do with Jesus...
@Kaylakaze
...wait, what? You're serious? HE'S SERIOUS!? This is...that's just...there's no...but...but...buh...glargghlllbblllisxtrizzm!
I...I don't know if I should laugh hysterically until I puke, or cry hysterically until I puke....
This is just so unreal....
101 Dalmatians. He could say this about Snow White. Sleeping Beauty. Hell, with a stretch, Cinderella. But 101 Dalmatians has NO occult or magic as I remember.
Well, I suppose if one's going to appoint oneself as the world's watchdog, you're gonna produce proof it's necessary. Even if it is paranoid ramblings.
What fundies of this type don't realize is, that all of the references to supernatural forces in the world (ghosts, magic, etc.) lends credibility to their own cartoon-world view. Once a person fails to distinguish between reality and fantasy, any bullshit is possible.
You think that Bible you're reading to your children is innocnt stuff ?? Think again, there's a character in there called 'The devil' who's name quite literally means 'The devil' he does all kinds of nasty things. Clearly the writers of this 'the Bible' book are promoting this kind of nasty behaviour or they wouldn't have put the character in the book.
Cruella De Vil is a play on cruel devil. It is not 'literally' cruel devil any way you look at it.
Stop using words when you don't know what they mean. And for that matter stop talking about things (i.e. kids' movies) that are clearly above your intellectual level.
So you're saying that ANY portrayal of a witch, even where the witch is the Bad Guy and gets his Just Desserts in the end, is Satanic and should be avoided?
Well, then ... there are portrayals of witches in the Bible. Clearly, the Bible is Satanic and should be avoided at all costs!
it would have been more believable if you labeled her as a prostitute (that still would have been a crazy accusation but still more believable then a witch).
she never tries to control them, she wants them as a coat.
You forgot to mention that there are 101 of them... a number that is so clearly satanic and occult that it seems as if all bets are off while the evil Walt Disney indoctrinates your children with magic.
[/sarcasm]
Do you fundies ever stop and wonder whether magic is actually possible? Aside from cartoons, television magic shows and movies, have you ever seen anything levitate? I thought so. In that case do yourself a favour and shut the fuck up.
Detrs: There's... porn?
And here I thought Kingdom Hearts spawned some serious 'OH GOD MY EYES' material
Do you mean Disney porn, or more specifically 101 Dalmatians porn? For the former, the answer is "by the truckload": in the world of a certain fandom, Jasmine and Arielle are world-class pornstars, with Belle, Mulan and Pocahontas not far behind, Tinkerbell is a very naughty fairy indeed, the Rescue Rangers are double-teaming Gadget, Goliath and Eliza are getting it on,... The Dalmatians are far less popular, but I have seen the odd picture of Pongo mounting Perdita's mistress, for example, and while I have never seen Aristocats or Lady and the Tramp porn I'm pretty sure there is some out there, somewhere.
Always remember the golden rule of internet porn:

Uh... Cruella ended the story broke and a fugitive from the law. And I don't remember any witchcraft, just some mass dognappings.
There was a nice miracle though...
Jezebel's Evil Sister, glad you cracked before I did.
And don't forget, she smoked as well, definintely a witch...
As far as talking dogs go, the dogs never "talked" to humans - they always barked. Therefore, what's implied is that animals speak a different language that only *they* understand and use between each other, and use a second language (meows, barks, moos, etc.) when interacting with humans.
Hardly magical, in any sense of the word.
ANd yep, Cruella wanted to make coats out of the puppies. That doesn't take witchcraft. She *stole* the litter of Pongo and Perdita, and purchased out of pet stores the others. Again, that doesn't take witchcraft.
Gads, it's amazing how stupid religion makes some people ...
"Story line after story line have featured White and Black Magicians"
Okay, but from what I understand, isn't white magic supposed to be... well, beneficial? To pretty much everything?
Oh wait, magic is bad because if it exists then it proves the possibility that God, isn't anymore more omnipotent than anyone else could be. My bad ^^
Now, I haven't watched this in about 4 years, but I still remember that...
1. There was no witchcraft whatsoever in the film.
2. Cruella was the VILLAN. Even if she was a witch, how does that promote witchcraft?
If you want to promote witchcraft, it's pretty bad to have your VILLAIN use it, silly! Cruella DeVil is hardly cute, nor fun and innocent, is she?
Her name doesn't "literally mean" anything, it's just a word-play.
If you don't like Disney, don't watch any of their films. It's not easy avoiding them, though; they own so much of the filming industry...
Confused?
