You know the really sad thing about this comment? I'm Northern Irish. I've never been to America in my life, never studied it* and have no plans to ever pop by - yet I spend a good chunk of my leisure time correcting and refuting statements made by Americans about their own country.

Dear OP:

When somebody who knows jack shit about your country can point out that you know less than them? That's the point where you generally just shut the fuck up.
