Why was Phyllis out of the kitchen and involved with politics? As a devout Christian, she should have been at home baking bread.
Of course, religion should never be involved in politics in the first place. Phyllis and her son are the first to complain if Muslims or atheists try to get involved with politics.
Her family was very obviously not raised right. I would not take any kind of parenting tips from her. Unless I too wanted a son who didn't 'believe' in complex numbers but rallied behind quantum mechanics, or had 0 understanding of set theory. Hell, look at where she hangs out. Those people are dangerous.

Just shows how long the spawner of Andy Schaftafly lived under that stone, when a couple of decades earlier, when Phyllis was wearing iron knickers, Bettie Page was having the time of her life: sex on tap, and on her terms, effectively the source of that Sexual Revolution.

Trying to convince women to submit to passive partners for Christ, which has proven to be ripe for abuse, and opposing equality is not defending women; it's an assault on them. Phyllis is a useful stooge who can be used to convince the women that Christianity is not sexist really, but the overall result has been a failure, as we can see by your ranting.

It's notable that this time period of returning to religious ethics marks a progressively more subversive and dishonest Republican party that is owned outright by corporations and religion.

Phyllis Schlafly, hypocrite and the woman that the character of Serena Joy was based on. Funny thing was, Serena actually got her wish of Wives being forced to remain in the home- and not only did she hate it, she even recognised the irony of her situation.
