"Having kids at those times would have destroyed my life."
Heh— Very few professions destroy a woman’s attractiveness to men more than becoming a lawyer.
Seriously. By choosing to become a lawyer, a woman is effectively reducing her husband prospects by 80% or more—
1) Men have good reason to be afraid of marrying (or even dating) a female lawyer.
2) Being a lawyer engenders women with personality traits that men find repulsive (even though a male lawyer clearly does become attractive to women).
3) Being a lawyer uses up a woman’s 20s, so her peak years are gone before she knows it.

There's nothing hotter than an educated, informed, opinionated and sophisticated woman - preferably without 20 tons of make-up in her face.
As for female lawyers, some ethics would be nice too.
1) Men have good reason to be afraid of marrying (or even dating) a female lawyer.
- So you admit that your antagonism toward women is partially based on fear. Don't worry, it was hardly a secret.
2) Being a lawyer engenders women with personality traits that men find repulsive (even though a male lawyer clearly does become attractive to women).
- Being a lawyer also bespeaks a degree of intelligence and confidence. Men who are NOT afraid of women find those traits very attractive.
3) Being a lawyer uses up a woman’s 20s, so her peak years are gone before she knows it.
- Funny thing about the attractiveness of intelligence and confidence: it transcends years. Unfortunately, no one will ever be able to explain that to the "men" of Spearhead.

Unless she wants a doctor husband.

Unless she has sex in her 20's. Or even (gasp) in her teens.
"Seriously. By choosing to become a lawyer, a woman is effectively reducing her husband prospects by 80% or more"
Ridiculous. I woud think it would be the opposite. They probably meet lots of eligible men. Male lawyers, police officers, various doctors, experts and others involved in the legal system and beyond. Lots of men who would be good prospects as husbands. Probably a lot more than the girl working on the supermarket checkout. As harsh as that sounds.
Yes! Because finding a man is EXACTLY what every woman's number one concern in life is! Not that she wants to live a fulfilling existence, making her own decisions, no, she wants to bow down in service of some other human being just because he has a Y chromosome!
Go fuck yourself.
A woman's value is not solely in her attractiveness and baby making ability.
(Also, a woman's attractiveness is note solely in her physical appearance, either.)
"effectively reducing her husband prospects by 80% or more"
She'd only be reducing her "prospects" with the small, pathetic minority of the male population who are so insecure they shun any woman smart enough or strong enough to stand up to them.
"Being a lawyer uses up her 20s, so her peak years are gone before she knows it"
Ditto what I said above, and add to that men who can't stand women their own age because they know older women can see that they're losers, unlike the uneducated early-twentysomething who might follow them around submissively for a few years before she realizes they're just full of shit.

Sounds like a great way of weeding out the sexist morons to me.
Translation: I'm a worthless piece of shit and so insecure that being with a mature, successful woman is simply unthinkable to me. And, to make myself feel better about this undeniable fact, I am going to delude myself into thinking that this is what the majority of men believe.
He's been known by the nickname TFH since his teens. He vastly prefers being bing called by the initials, to his full nickname "The Fuck Head."
Kids can be so perceptive at times.
Traits that men find repulsive?
Being a lawyer most likely means that the woman is: Intelligent, confident in her abilities, forward in what she wants, and is perfectly capable of being independent.
It might just be me, but as a man, I find those traits in a woman to be insanely attractive. I want a partner, not a mindless drone.
Admittedly, lawyers in general (of both sexes) do have a rather bad reputation in the U.S..
As Dave Barry once observed, a lawyer "hates the fact that, every time he tells people what he does for a living, they react as though he said 'Nazi medical researcher.'"
Seems to me, it would weed out exactly those men she wouldn't want in the first place.
Case in point: The person posting.
Well, lawyers are not liked in general, if jokes are to be believed. So, for both genders, never be a lawyer(sarcasm)
"attractiveness to men"? "husband prospects"?
Seriously. This isn't the 1700's, silly; women are no longer dependent on getting a husband to have somewhere to live. Women make their own money nowadays, they can vote and live wherever they want.
I'd say the North Sea fishing profession is more detrimental to "attractiveness".
Men's peak years are in their late teens to early twenties. Women's peak years are in their forties. Sex peak, that is, not procreation, but the world is already dangerously overpopulated, so we need people to have fewer kids anyway.
Confused?
