Because your faith (Naturalism/Evolution) dictates that chimps evolved into humans, you believe the chromosomes fused.

Because my faith (Christian/Creation) dictates God's design, I believe God created chimps AND humans independently.

Scientists have yet to prove the chromosomes fused so, to defend your faith, the burden of proof is yours, not ours.

Your analogy of the Biblical flood is perfect and it's exactly why we want a critical analysis of evolution allowed in the public school. The claims of evolution have never been proven or backed up with ANY observation or evidence and to continue to mandate teaching evolution as fact denegrates the word 'science.'
