Civilization depends, it has always depended, upon keeping down the half-civilized, keeping out the barbarians, and preventing both the half-savages and full savages from infesting, infecting, and ultimately destroying the civilized aspects of a society.

Instead of gradually welcoming into society those exceptional Africans who followed the lead of blue-bottomed Brits and naked Germans in graduating from cannibalistic savagery and expecting from them the same rights and responsibilities of a civilized citizen, the Civil Rights movement insanely declared all humanity to be the same, thereby eliminating the all-important distinction between civilized human population groups and savage ones. Once that happened, it was only a matter of time before the enwiggification of America took place.

The Civil Rights movement didn't merely destroy Constitutional rights, but literally gave naked, albino-eating, baby-raping cannibals the same intrinsic legal rights as highly civilized, highly moral Christian Europeans and told the romantic equalitarian fools to expect even better results than before. The Greeks knew better than that. The Romans knew better than that. The Imperial British knew better than that. And America's Founding Fathers knew better than that.

Had the Arabs and Chinese simply written off our European ancenstors as primitives and not shared with them medicine, mathematics, literature, and industry we would not be where we are today. We'd be ignorant pig farmers waving sharp bits of metal around and trying to cure tetanus with leeches and prayer. That's of course assuming they didn't decide their "superiority" gave them the right to make us slaves.

Had we never smatened the fuck up and began giving the slaves that had been so flippantly ripped from their homes and subjected to barbarism beyond anything they had ever known their due rights as human beings we'd not have blood transfusions, refridgerated long haul shipping, several industries, or even folding chairs. Agriculture in the Southern US would have collapsed and the economy would have followed. Music would suck, the momentum to secure the rights of women, the disabled, and LGBT communities may not have gotten off the ground (though I imagine you'd count that as a bonus) and we'd be a bunch of backwards douchebags laughing about how superior we are when civilization and all progress had essentially frozen for centuries.

There have been quite a few people who fit into one of those categories, or ones with similar levels of depravity, in the press in the US and Europe in the last few years. Bar Ariel Castro, they have all been white. Be careful how you generalize.

The Greeks knew better than that. The Romans knew better than that. The Imperial British knew better than that. And America's Founding Fathers knew better than that.

The Romans might well have taken the same attitude about keeping down the barbarian and half-civilized. In which case the Britons would have remained blue-bottomed and the Germans naked. You see, VD, ancient civilizations tended to take the attitude that if you followed their laws and customs you were one of them. Therefore it was very easy to become a Roman or a Greek. And given the extent of the Roman Empire, the number of black Romans was not small.

The Imperial British had black people in their universities and eventually as Members of Parliament. And finally, it gave them independence. As for the Founding Fathers, why did they write a Constitution that gave free men of color the same rights as white men?

Cyrus The Great, King of Persia, one of the most impressive early civilizations ever created by the human race, and founder of the Achaemenid Empire, a regional superpower in it's day is well remembered for his beliefs that all people were equal and worthy of dignity. At the time, Persia was home to Persians, Akkadians, Syrians, Lebanese, Egyptians, Jews and even a few Greeks and Romans, not to mention countless other ethnic groups, including Sub-Saharan Africans, Proto-Indians and Chinese. It sat at the crossroads of Asia and Europe and was a key leg along the Silk Road. Cyrus, during his reign, declared that all people are equal in the eyes of the gods. He was among the first rulers EVER to physically write out a declaration of human rights, a declaration which saw no differentiation on the basis of skin color, religious belief, cultural background or native tongue.

How long did the Persian Empire last? More than 300 years before being partitioned among various Mesopotamian city-states. How long did Cyrus's actions hold influence over rulers that would come later? More than 2000 years. Thomas Jefferson, who you accuse of being an overt racist piece of shit like yourself listed Cyrus among his personal heroes.

Civilization depends upon how those in power treat those they rule or govern, regardless of skin color, religion, cultural background or language. Cyrus understood this, you clearly don't.
