Nobody's taking God out of the US. The founding fathers forbid the government to take sides in religious matters. Teaching evolution doesn't take God out of anything. It contradicts a literal reading of Genesis, a belief which in the US is mainly promoted by fundamentalist Baptists and various non-aligned pentecostal sects.
The majority of Brazilians are Roman Catholics, who are neither bound by literal readings of the Bible nor see a conflict between God and evolution.

In Brazil, there is secular law too. In third world countries where supposedly people believe in God.........there are madrassas or second rate education, secular or not,schools. And many of them teach evolution, by the way.
