What happened to me to make my brain go this wrong?
Many wonder, few have any conclusive answers.
Keep in mind that I'm more intelligent than you are.
That REALLY remains to be seen.
The fact that you can't understand the way I think doesn't make my brain wrong, it merely means you aren't keeping up.
Keep telling yourself that.
But more important is the fact that I'm considerably more experienced than you are. I've had three decades to observe the differences between all those school lessons about valuing equality, diversity, and vibrancy and the way human beings actually behave.
See, I may be only 29 years old...but in that truncated time, I have spent it on introspection, and questioning what I know to be true. That, I assure you, has left me with a very broad worldview. See...I learned when I was about 25 or so that I didn't know everything. Maybe it took a while for it to truly sink in, but it is still a very humbling lesson. One you cleary haven't learned yet. But yes, most of my life has been spent observing people. My formal tainnig my be lacking, but I have a pretty good grasp, I like to think.
As for women's rights, well, a young woman as intelligent as you should be able to handle the math that dictates what happens to a society when an insufficient number of young women marry and have children.
And a cursory knowledge of global events as wel as simple math will tell you that we are a very, VERY long way from being even remotely in danger of our numbers being in peril. If anything, we are in danger of OVERpopulation.
Since women's rights are very strongly correlated with demographic decline, they are not sustainable and are, in fact, societally deleterious. They are not so much wrong as fatal when viewed from the macro perspective.
And if you look at the statistics, the dwindling number of pirates is directly related to the rise in global temperatures.
I do believe women should have the same legal rights and protections afforded to unborn children. There is no contradiction there. You see, I don't believe that unborn children should be given the right to vote or permitted to murder other unborn children either.
I can literally, LITERALLY hear his smug chuckle as he wrote this, thinking himself so clever. Much like the ones who say "Gays have the same rights as straights do...to marry someone of the opposite sex, so why do they complain?" Of course, the moment a fetus is threatening another fetus with an unviable pregnancy, this will become a valid train of thought.
I understand you have your own goals. That's fine. The problem is that women are not only valuable to society, they are invaluable. They are necessary.
"They are property." A human being has the right to define their own role in society, contrary to your own opinion. You owuld rotest if someone told you what you are to do in life, so why is it any different fo you to define others, your own, outrageously large intelligence notwithstanding?
The one and only thing both society and the human race actually need from you is for you to marry and raise children.
Tell that to the people who are a second paycheck from living on the streets. Above and beyond wanting a life outside of "baby factory" there are women who NEED to work, just to keep the family afloat. Not just "Smeone has to help pay for the second Jag we want, and the trip to Monte Carlo," but to keep lights on and food in the fridge.
If you're not going to do that, then it really doesn't matter if you're going to become a human resources manager with an engineering degree or drop out of school and become a stripper. If you're only going to do what any man of similar capabilities can do, then you are an evolutionary dead end and as unimportant to society as the average man is.
And how do you get that? A woman who can reproduce AND help better the family unit (the two are not mutually exclusive) is mmore likely to flourish than one who will just stay at home and crank out babies, since most men need a second set of hands in the house. So even on THAT level, you fail.
