Are Nephilim's invisible? They are 50% human though. This is a weird creation. Just as weird as the caged beast that'll be freed during the Tribulation. 1 stab = 6 monthes of HORRIBLE PAIN, then you die.

It will give you cancer?
Papabear - Consider that almost all of the end-of-the-world situations that these people propose are, at best, extrapolations of what the Bible actually says. It's their singularity - they can't know what's going to happen, since their preconceived conclusions make no sense when compared with what they know of reality. One possible interpretation of this is that these particular Christians are frightened by the idea of the end of the world and are trying to force it into some sort of knowable framework. Of course, to do that, they have to mash all kinds of bizarre things together and they end up going to conclusions that make even less sense than the original premise.
So I'd say this is pretty much the norm for people who try to figure out how Revelation could be real. As evidence, I point to the whole of Rapture Ready.
No, the stab kills you after not 6 months of pain, but 6 ROUNDS, during which your attack and defense abilities steadily deteriorate. And the Nephilim are invisible only until they attack, but becoming invisible again is a free action on their next turn.
...What, you mean we're not talking about creatures in the D&D Monster Manual? Oh, sorry. My bad.

I've read Revelations, and in fact the entire Left Behind series. (I was bored, and it is a mildly interesting read even if it's completely unrealistic. You just have to expect a lot of Deus ex machina sort of things, except that the unlikely intervention actually is God in those books.) Nowhere in either does it mention a beast that leaves you in terrible pain for 6 months before you die. It does mention people wanting to die from the pain and being unable to die (though I think this was to last considerably shorter than 6 months), and it also mentions plenty of other ways to die, but the two are never combined.

Not if I make my Fortitude save, dude. And I'm like a 20th level wizard, so I'm so going to make it.
What the hell is with this fundamentalist obsession with the Nephilim?? For a denomination that's supposedly so serious about taking the Bible literally, you'd think they'd know those beings (from what I've read, anyway), were wiped out in the Flood! They ain't around anymore!
Confused?
