The end times are going to begin in America. Not because America is more special than anyone else, but because this is what God wants to do.
Apparently it's only because that's where you are. Humans have this fallacy of wanting to be the center fo the universe, thus the deities they create are conveniently obsessed about that human's perception. Some people also have difficulty to accept facts such as our planet being small in the universe, or humans being animals from nature, etc. In mythology, origin myths, when placed in their actual original context, are always concerned about that very people who wrote it, too. "God wants to do" here really means "I hope" or "I dictate".
He’ll start with us, then He’ll expand out to the rest of the world while He continues to trash us. God has specific agendas in mind for running the end times the way that He is going to run them.
So "he'll glorify you and torture you, whatever he pleases"... why this need to interfere in it with your propaganda, then? Why would "he" need you?
When you pay no regard to what His personal goals are and instead start pleading for Him to stop the damage, are you treating Him respectfully? No, you’re being a little brat and acting like God should be revolving around you and what you want.
So when I tell you that you're an authoritarian crackpot, it's treating the imaginary being unrespectfully?
Once the end time destruction begins, it will be a complete waste of time for you to start throwing 2 Chronicles 7:14 in God’s face.
In "God's face" or, at you? What when it's just not happening? There has and will be hardship, you need strong evidence to tie that with a so-called divine origin. But others have been prone to such fallacies, wishthinking and confirmation bias for thousands of years, it's a human thing. It's also where the scientific method attempts to do better, to achieve a result greater than what its parts can, fallacious mortal humans. And here you admit that anyone can pick and reject what they want from ancient human scripture and twist it for their purposes.
He’s not going to heal our land or anyone else’s.
Just like he never could so never did. It was a lot of work for humans to rise above raw savagery in some societies, too. Sometimes ungrateful humans also destroy that.
Instead, He’s going to keep on destroying both lives and property and if we don’t want to end up on the wrong side of His wrath during this period, then we need to listen to what He is saying to us in the privacy of our own souls.
Human pollution, climate change, wars, natural disasters, none are "divine acts" and you have not shown otherwise.
