Most child abuse (physical, emotional, sexual) is carried out by family members - often parents (so much for the sanctity of the family!)

It's a "tract" and...it's just sad. I am very hard to shock and I'm rarely at a loss for words but the whole thing is just...fucking wow. Fundies are right about one thing - America is in decline. The cause, however, is not any mythical secular/humanist agenda.

Um, no, I can tell you RIGHT NOW that the age of consent being 14 not too many years ago in Hawaii was because of dirty, pervy, old heterosexual men that were in charge of policy.
Making a chart of age of consent would completely oversimplify the issue. In Canada, age of consent is 14, but that's not all. It's still illegal to have sex with someone 14-18 if they're more than 4 years younger than you. A better chart would show the youngest person a 21 year-old could have sex with, which would be a 17 year-old here. I believe it's 18 in the US. Hardly a pedophile conspiracy.

Okay, that lisa thing was just sick to the extreme. First off, the doctor should have (and was legally required to have) reported his ass and had him thrown in jail, not sent him home with the warm fuzzies about jesus. When he did send the guy home the mother should have kicked his ass and then reported his ass instead of getting all happy crappy over his jesus fuzzies, and while she was at it, reported the doctor too for not reporting the sick bastard in the first place.
Is "Lisa" the one that basically says that if a wife works her husband will watch porn wihich will make him rape their daughter and giver her herpes but then the husband doesn't have to go to jail or hell because he found Jesus?

Also: changing age of consent laws isn't always a bad thing, because some laws don't acknowledge the fact that teens are capable of safe, consensual sex. So young men sometimes get thrown in jail for consensual sex with their girlfriend who is only a few years younger. (Which is royally messed up on many levels and sexist both ways.)
First of all, pedophiles are not attracted to teenagers, so will everyone please stop ignorantly saying that? Some 16 year-old girl with developed breasts, curves, etc...isn't the same thing as an undeveloped 6 year-old child. And before anyone thinks "omg ur a perv!", I am 18 and I prefer older men; teens don't do a damn thing for me sexually.
Secondly, I just read the 'Lisa' comic, and I haven't been this disgusted in awhile. So Jack Chick wants us to fear gays because they'll somehow molest children(which is utter BS, being gay has nothing to do with actual pedophilia), yet according to him it's ok for a man to get away with raping his daughter, pimping her to the neighbors, and giving her an STD as long as he loves Jesus? WHAT THE FUCK??? This crap only proves fundie cunts like Chick don't give a damn about childrens' wellbeing, they care about pushing a hateful and bigoted agenda. Fucking sick and pathetic subhuman they are.
The age of consent is the same for both homosexual and heterosexual relations. In your beloved OT, girls were married as soon as they got their periods, that is, sometimes at 12, your point?
