Yes, we’ve made promises to each other but there are exceptions. I asked my dad once, if he came home from work to find mom in bed with another man, what would he do. He said he’s been watching television for years, so instead of a half-hour of farcical sitcom mayhem, he’d just go out into the living room and wait for her to explain the situation.
