1. UC Berkeley is not in the Ivy League.
2. Wise and educated are what people are to be when they finish school, not when they go there. Cal generally does a very good job in that respect.
3. "New age" beliefs are challenged by science and history and all the other ways of obtaining empirically verified knowledge just as much as Christianity is challenged by them.
4. Allen's puns are neither apt nor original.
