We (science) created logic, but you say we can't use it?
That's some weak god you're trying to protect.
"God created logic, so you can't use logic if you don't believe in him!"
Facepalm and headdesk at the same time.
Actually, I profess that the predictive nature of the universe is caused because it is the product of many little gods working to keep the universe stable and predictable under the direction of a holy trinity responsible for its creation, maintenance, and final recycling. A system that cycles indefinitely and predictively seems to be a lot more sound system to apply the the fundamental principles of logic and reason to than a lone and finite universe created by a lone omnipresence responsible not only for the birth, but death of that universe.
What all of that rigamarole means, you can't use logic because you don't affirm the existence of Brahman, the world-sea, whose fundamental properties guarantee the predictability of the universe.
At least, I think that's a response to the interesting argument you're fucking up.

Says you. Now prove it.
Logically speaking a sky wizard decided to make a planet so that he can have his ego massaged repeatedly by lesser beings who he threatens to destroy should they not massage his ego?
Riiiiggght.
Someone needs to look up the word "logic".
Actually, logic at its core level would have evolved in small creatures which needed to deduce things like "if it's heavy and/or fast and/or sharp it can probably kill me".
The rest just built on that.
God created logic
WTF? "If a is b, and b is c, then a is c" wouldn't be true except for God? "If all a's are b's, and c is an a, then c is a b" wouldn't be true except for God? Besides, why couldn't the Flying Spaghetti Monster have created logic?
@ POSW:
Oooh, careful. You OK?
Hank created logic, and all of Hank's creation points to Him (Hank's letter dictated to Karl). It is morally repugnant and intellectually dishonest for the non-Hank-ass-kisser to use logic and rationality without confessing a belief in a transcendent power, namely Hank as revealed in the letter that He dictated to Karl, from whom all truth, morality and rationality flows.
God created logic, therefore using logic proves God's existence.
Did God create circular logic or did that only exist after the Fall???
Monad does it for me, or Brahman or Gitche Manitou. Same concept.
The false god Yahweh is not, does not, and can not. He's an incomplete loser, plain and simple.
Nyaaaah!
Er, the 'Trinitarian God of Scripture'?
There ain't no such animal: the Trinity was invented by the Council of Nicaea in the fourth century AD. There's no mention of it in either the Old or New Testaments.
So this guy is saying that you are not allowed to use logic and reason unless you "confess" that logic and reason are the creation of a supernatural being that defies logic and reason?
I just gave myself a headache.
So your god is all powerful and all knowing.
But he's so shallow that if anyone uses their "God given" brain, he gets his nose out of joint?
BTW Do you believe in one god? Or 3?
"It is morally repugnant and intellectually dishonest" to use the Bible to justify the existence of the BIBLE. If you wish to argue logic then you may do so using logic, and someone arguing AGAINST the Bible using only its own contradicitions and inconsistencies will still kick your arrogant self-important ass! Have a nice day!
If you fundies have a monopoly on logic, morality, rationality and reasoning, as you claim, then why do you never use them?
Yes, if there is a God, this God created logic.
The Bible is not logical.
Thus, if there is a God, this God opposes the Bible.
Also: Your scripture never actually mentions the term Trinity. Where is it you got the concept of trinity from anyway?
Funny, because LOGIC dictates if something cannot be seen, felt, tasted, smelt, or heard, it likely does not exist.
I can't find the source, but the following isn't original:
Neptune created the sea, and all of the sea points to Him. It is morally repugnant and intellectually dishonest to sail, eat fish, or acknowledge the existence of the sea without confessing a belief in Neptune.
Ah yes, because belief in a god who is his own son and his own father, with something called a holy ghost thrown in for good measure, is absolutely logical.
Uh-huh.
It'd be nice if you people knew what logic is and what the process is to exercise it. Things that are evident (our world and ourselves) can be understood if you study them. This process has allowed science (and society)to draw conclusions and make predictions based on likelyhoods.
Logic works.
Having an all powerful omnipresent God existing in nothingness (YOUR claim) create the entire universe down to the simplist thing has no place in logical deduction. The only logical premise of a God would be to be born into the existing universe which makes many Pantheons of Gods more logical, not a certainty in any way but slightly more logical.
Logic, and an offspring, history, tells us people wrote the books of the Bible and eventually they were compiled in MANY versions. Logic tells us they're stories by their origions, something churchs all avoid to include in their teachings, tellingly.
Moreover we have hundreds of different stories of Gods from around the entire world, most different then yours, many more concise, but even the most childish, most ridiculous ones have just as much proof as yours.
Try to apply REAL logic to your beliefs.
Confused?
