"But Athesism IS a religion, isn't it?"
...and right from the start does birdfucker FAIL. And doubly so, too:
1- Atheism. 'A-Theism', as in 'Without God' by definition cannot be a religion. I mean, who is our 'God'? Richard Dawkins? At least he exists. [/hyper-smartarse]
Where are our places of worship? I've lived in Hull all my life, and I'm fucked if I know where my local 'Atheist Church' is. You tell me.
2- "isn't it?" Just the mere act of ending that statement - right from the start - as a question, and with a question mark, is extremely telling. It's as if birdfucker here is subconsciously wishing that those he asks that of don't reply thusly:
'If Atheism is a religion, and you fundies are so eager to define our (lack of) 'belief' as such, then we Atheists are owed a fuckton of tax rebates, backdated and with interest, seeing as Atheism is a 'religion'. So c'mon, fundies, start unchaining those wallets, seeing as we're owed untold billions. Pony up that ca$h. Chop-chop!
...and isn't it the case that you right-wing Fundamentalist Christians always say that your 'beliefs' aren't a religion, but 'a personal relationship with Jesus', do you not?
Do you want to make that call to the IRS/HM Inland Revenue/(*Insert tax collection organisation of your choice here*), or shall I? After all, as yours is a 'personal relationship with Jesus' and not a religion, then right-wing Fundamentalist Christianity of every single stripe - especially in the US - have untold trillions to shell out in tax; backdated & with interest, seeing as every single church and their related organisation(s) have claimed Tax Exemption as a Religion.'
