Well, let's not talk 'religion', let's talk doctrine. There are signifigant differences between what the Bible teaches and what some churches teach. If you are in a church which is teaching things which are different from the Bible (and the Orthodox church does), then you should leave it.

So, if you leave the false doctrine, what will your Aunt do? She may not speak to you. All over the world, there are people who, when they are saved, are rejected by their families. In fact, in some Jewish communities, if someone is saved, the father can pronounce the child to be 'dead'. They will actually go so far as having a funeral and a time of mourning for them. Then if someone encounters them on the street, they are treated like a stranger or an outsider. Just because someone is saved, their whole family treats them as though they do not exist. There are other cultures (muslims, moron's) where a new Christian is completely rejected by the community: they loose their jobs, police single them out, etc. In some muslim countries, you can be killed for being a Christian.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

By the way, that answers your third question as well. The world will hate you simply for being a Christian and taking a stand!
