Witchcraft DOES exist-

Witchcraft is evil. If something is demonic it isn't Glorifying God.Those horrific monsters you see in anime and other cartoons aren't of God. They take demonic creatures in some shows and films and make them look cute and cuddly.

Bleach. Death Note. Trinity Blood, Blood Plus, Wolf's Rain, Full Metal Alchemist, Naruto, Pokemon, etc.
In Teen Titans Trigon is Raven's father and Raven is a half-demon who fights with witchcraft.

Making jokes abot Christians, God and the Bible is disrespectful and can be dangerous. Anyone who fears God WOULDN'T and SHOULDN'T be doing that. I take the Word of God very seriously and I know what it says about that.

I'm talking about making fun of the events of the Bible.

I've seen Family Guy and I have seen how they make God and Jesus characters and make fun of them.

I meant "Bible Fight" not "Bible Game"- Bible Game is okay- Bible Fight is a sacrilegious farce and I despise it.

I'm a Christian- I hate shows like Morel Orel and Lucy Daughter of the Devil.

Okay let me explain this because none of these things involve witchcraft.
Bleach: It's about souls and shit. There's no real witchcraft involved, in fact it's kind of just slightly based Shinto views of the afterlife.
Death Note: If the Death Note was made by witches then it would be witchcraft, but it's not. It belongs to Death Gods who use it to do their job.
Trinity Blood: Vatican vs Vampires sums up this show. The vampires don't use witchcraft because they don't need to and the Vatican doesn't because that would be hypocrtical. In fact there's no magic in the show at all, just very advanced technology.
Blood Plus: Again, vampire hunting show. The vampires use witchcraft, but they are the villains. Thus witchcraft is vilified. How can you have a problem with this.
Full Metal Alchemist: Alchemy. It's alchemy. Not witchcraft.
Naruto: Naruto is about ninjas, not witches.
Pokemon: Pokemon is about animal hording for kids and involves not magic at all.
Teen Titans: The second show on this list to have actual magic and witchcraft in it and once again, it's vilified. Raven's father is a demon who wants to destroy the world and gets defeated. Why would you have a problem with this?

So what have we learned. We've learned that witchcraft, now matter how evil and vilified it appears in a given work of fiction will upset fundies just because its witchcraft. On the other hand they only seem to care about fiction. Probably because witchcraft itself is fiction.

Personally it bugs the crap out of me how Christians can freak out about everything under the sun (i.e. the subject matter in all the animes, TV shows and whatnot) and yet not freak out about fairies, talking ducks, singing mice, etc etc (Disney anyone?). I forget though, there are some who are so bad they freak out over that as well. It's all fiction - make-believe. If you're freaked out about something that isn't even real I don't know how you will handle it when something bad does in fact happen.

FYI, I happen to be a Christian and I really like anime and dark-themed shows (vampires usually). I also like Dexter. How can I say this and not be a hypocrite? Simple - I know it's fiction. These people who go nuts over stupid stuff don't realize that what they are really doing is just giving this stupid stuff sway and power over them.

And another peeve - Why do FUNDIES Capitalize tHIngs SO randomly ALL tHE tiME?

One of these things is not like the others...one of these things, doesn't belong...(well, two depending on your opinion of Naruto).

Meh, that's nothing. In the anime series "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion", the immortal ruler of the Holy Britannian Empire - Charles zi Brittania - has the 'Sword of Akasha': a weapon that destroys gods.

And even then, the protagonist - Lelouch Lamperouge - who possesses the ability to force anyone to obey his orders absolutely (even if he instructs them to kill themselves) by just looking them in the eye, 'Geasses' God (the 'World of C') ordering it to dissolve into oblivion.

"Bible Fight"? In the fight arena, Lelouch would just 'Geass' you to burn that Bible of yours, Mavericker.

And there are those who criticise Anime for it's Hentai aspects. Eh, ProfessorPaedoSpice...?! Yet, Anime's popularity in the US & beyond is all down to a right-wing Fundamentalist Christian showing an anime series in the early 80s on his Christian TV channel. That series' title?:

Oh, teh irony. And what Anime can do is far lore lethal - certainly for Christianity in the US - than any Irony Meter's exploding effects.
