Also of interest is the name of the e.u. vessel [to Mars]...the 'Beagle 2'. That was the name of the boat Charles Darwin used to venture out into the uncharted areas to do his 'research'. Interesting thoughts come to mind don't they?

I'd say it's a very appropriate choice of name. And your point is what? That they should call it Noah's Ark 2?
That would be a bit redundant, seeing as there never was a Noah's Ark 1.
This is pretty lame, even by RR standards. Yeah, it brings up the thought that like the first Beagle, this one will also be a journey of discovery that pushes science forwards and religious dogma further into the past.

Yeah, I can see why raptards think that’s a significant clue.

Yes. Pretty much everyone understood Trillian’s costume on Hitchhiker’s Guide.

Ah. You hold Genesis to be literal, so you can’t stand the idea of evolutionary theory being researched and held to be good science.
That’s good. That’s real good.
Because of Genesis is literal, then the Earth is flat. The sky is solid. The planets and stars and moon and sun roll around inside the sky.
The very idea of a spaceship traveling to Mars and going more than about 400 miles straight up is very unbiblical, as much as an old Earth and Evolution and humans being a form of ape and common ancestors and all the science.
So, yeah, Beagle II would be appropriate, as would you sticking your head in the sand and pretending it’s all a conspiracy.
But then, what is the entire fucking POINT of the conspiracy naming it after the Beagle? If they KNOW that Darwin’s work is all false, then they know that they are always constantly just inches away from being discovered. And they know about creationists. So they KNOW that naming it the Beagle would make you idiots suspect everything the fucking mission sends back.
It’s waving a red flag, ASKING to be more heavily scrutinized, improving the chances of being caught red-handed.
WHY do conspiracy theorists insist that people with the ability to trick and fool the majority of the Earth’s population make a POINT of taunting the few they haven’t fooled?
Confused?
