[A discussion of how outraged they are because they think Obama isn't an American citizen.]

I have a bad feeling about this whole thing. Even commenting on this board is a concern to me. I am not sure why, but i feel like this will come back to bite us somehow.

Big brother watching???
You know! Just being a Christian will get you into hot water these days! You don't have to be say or do anything in particular to be persecuted. All you need to be is one of them people who knows Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

It may come as a surprise to you but the world doesn't revolve around the Rapture Ready website. Most people don't even know about it or care about your silly ramblings.
Get a life.
Obama was born in Hawaii and state in the USA since 1959, McCain was born in Panama, a Central American country not in the USA.
"You don't have to be say or do anything in particular to be persecuted."
Well, if you say something stupid, I'll make fun of you. But for persecution I usually require a minimum of a death threat.
Misty, Misty, Misty... Christians are not persecuted in the U.S.A.. Getting to go to a church (some exceedingly jumbo in size), have potluck dinners, and other various activites including school and childcare is NOT PERSECUTION. IT IS NOT!!! People not agreeing with your beliefs is not persecution! It is a difference of opinion!
What you say (not exclusive to you, but what some of your brothers and sisters in Christ may be saying) is the problem. No one cares if you hold your beliefs. Really. What people do care about is having the beliefs you hold so dear within yourself, your home, and your place of worship being shoved on them. If people are living within the framework of the law, they have a right to live as they choose.
Further, there have been some unbelievable comments made involving certain people wishing that the President Elect would get murdered so McCain would have a shot at office. There have been similar wishes to carry out acts of violence on homosexuals and athiests. This requires attention, because it is dangerous.
People in the US have had to take the shit from you fundies (especially how lobbyists & fundies have manipulated the GOP into doing what they want), therefore the Atheist backlash starts HERE. The only rights YOU subhuman fundies have are to bend over & take what WE say, do & think. YOU'RE the minority now.
Hey Misty, why don't you shut the fuck up? You're not even close to being persecuted you whiny little bitch.
I've said it before: when the government comes and kicks down your door, confiscates all of your property, garrisons your house, drags your family off to a labor camp, arrests you without reason, holds you without charge and sentences you without trail all because you're a poor wittle Christian, then you can bitch and whine about being persecuted.
You do not get to bitch and whine about persecution because you can't persecute others, tell them how to live or steal their rights from them or simply because someone, somewhere, disagrees with your particular brand of insanity.
Must be right, Obamas a Christian and you fucks are sure prosecuting him. By the way, forget heaven as you fundies are all bearing false witness. That means you've sinned even if you don't realize it's not true because you're repeating it.
"You don't have to be say or do anything in particular to be persecuted. All you need to be is one of them people who knows Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. "
You do realize that the second sentence there contradicts the first, right, Misty?
*eyeroll*
It's nice how Christians like to think of themselves as a persecuted group living in America. Growing up Jewish and having people ask me where I was spending Christmas never really bothered me that much, I definitely wasn't being persecuted, I still had food every night and I went to school with all the other kids. I even said the pledge of allegiance with the god part crossing my fingers behind my back. For some reason fundamentalists think that not getting special privileges is persecution.

Well, yeah - saying really stupid, offensive things in public tends to have that effect.
Big brother watching???
No, probably just anyone in the entire world with an internet connection, a search engine and a vague interest in the topic on which you are ranting. You should be more worried about all of them.
Correction, being a paranoid, hatefilled, bigoted Christian will get you in hot water these days.
And you can fuck right off with the persecution. You're not in jail or being tortured. The real persecuted church would like a word with you assclowns.
The worst anyone in America does to Christians is laugh when they say something stupid, or punishing them when they commit crimes. That's not persecution. Throwing them to the lions, yes. Making fun of something stupid they've said, no.
I doubt these idiots would be complaining if they went to Iran, where Christians actually are persecuted against.
@#851731: Those weren't True Scotsmen. ;P

Gee, publicly commenting on your desire to see Obama shot doesn't exactly help your cause, does it?
This is how their idea of persecution plays out.
Rapture Retard: "Excuse me I was just wondering if you've heard about the rapture. If you except Jesus Christ in your life you will be sav....
Normal person: "I'm sorry I'm not interested, I have a bus to catch."
Rapture Retard: "WHY ARE YOU PERSECUTING US!"
Let me guess, you are Saudis? No, North Koreans? Citizens of an islamic, african dictatorship? No? You're citizens of the USA? Then go into one of these countries and learn what persecution MEANS!
"You don't have to be say or do anything in particular to be persecuted. All you need to be is one of them people who knows Jesus as your Lord and Saviour."
Like, for instance, the President-Elect of the United States?
They do have a "fair argument for it". It's just that these assholes take that fair argument and then crap all over it.
His father was a British Citizen and got he technically can pick either British or American as part of his citizenship during birth.
His mom picked american... So he is an american citizen born in America.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
