Whether or not rape is a sin depends on how it was done, if it was done in accordance to God's will in order to punish sinners then it is ok. If it is for some other reason then it is not.

He is biblically correct, not morally, though.
You have the nerve to berate atheists, when you can consider that rape can somehow be god's will?
"In other news, police today released a man accused of raping a woman, on the grounds that he did it according to God's will. Investigators confirmed that the woman was, in fact, a sinner, and thus was being raped as punishment."
Hmmm... Let's put some of our collected fundie logic together. Being raped is a sin, even though it is not the victim's fault. Rape is not a sin as long as it is done to punish sinners, therefore, rape shall never be a sin, and rape victims deserve it!
Alas, I dread the day these fundies start taking over...
Let me get this straight. According to fundie "reasoning."
1-EVERYONE is a sinner
2-It's OK to punish sinners for god by raping them
Then with those two conditions met...
3-All rape would be justified
WTF you sick twisted fucktard.
The sad thing is not only is this biblically correct as AnonymousAsshole has mentioned, it's really not all that unusual a belief among the religious right. To them, morality is not based on whether or not someone is hurt by the action, but whether or not God approves of it.
Phyllis Schlafly, a famous anti-feminist speaker, has said that marital rape is not rape because it's the woman's fault for not fufilling her wifely duty.
In fact, just recently Tennessee senator Doug Henry said that rape today does not mean the same thing as it used to because now it's "just" a woman not consenting to sex, and it used to be an act of defiling a woman by someone other than her husband. Basically, he implied that it's not such a big deal now that women aren't considered the property of their father or husband!
Yeah, the bible is great... It allows people to say that stuff like rape, slavery, and stoning people is 'okay sometimes' and debate about it 'according to God.' That's some great moral fiber, there.
And how could something not be 'God's will,' anyway? I mean, it's freaking God... Just... whatever... I agree, Satan must be a pretty upstanding fellow if he's supposed to oppose God.
if it was done in accordance to God's will in order to punish sinners then it is ok.
And who the fuck gets to decide this! You?
And you wonder why the fuck nobody likes you people? If there is a hell, it's you that will be in it. Do you really believe that something that is all good, and all powerful, and all loving could actually condone such action?
Your a sick bunch of fucks.
Whether or not rape is a sin depends on how it was
done ...
I've never pulled it off, but I like to think I would do it with a certain rakish air and a degree of considerate senitivity.
Gavinder seems a bit trollish to me. All his posts seem to be slightly pugnacious, and he keeps raising questions with a tone of "Well if 'A' is true then so must 'B' be? Right? Right?... Right?"
I've been wrong before mind you, i'm just throwing it out there.
Jesus Fuck Shit Christ!
Is there ANY pit of depravity they won't sink to to try to justify the acts done in the Bible?
Seriously, people, how the motherfucking hell is it possible that things like this exist? How can ANYONE actually burn away their ethics and compassion for their fellow human beings to the point they can say with a smile that suffering is a good thing?
How can ANYONE lust so much for the 'promise' of immortality dangled in front of them by the Bible or any Holy Book, that they glady throw away everything that makes them a human being just so they can live forever?
I can't concieve how this is possible. I suppose that anyone with at least a rudimentary concious could not understand it, so I suppose its a good thing I can't.
Still, shit in a hat, this is a TEENS forum. People my age have been turned into balls of hatred, ignorance and intolerance. How is it possible, people? For the love of fucking God, how is it possible??!!?
Please, someone tell me, because I don't know at all.
Since God planned everything for good, then every rape, abortion, and suicide is God's will, and you're wrong to stand in its way.
Also, free will is an illusion.
Whether or not rape is a sin depends on how it was done, if it was done in accordance to God's will in order to punish sinners then it is ok.
That might have worked on you when your pastor said it, but that wont hold up in court Gavinder!
I guess you are about 12 years old with a mental age of maybe 9...
If what you say is correct, then Kent Hovind is verily a sinner and is suffering the lord's righteous fury - every night.
By the way - CEZTDIAFOABISIWDAAC.
For the uninitiated, that's "catch Ebola Zaire then die in a fire on a boat in shark infested waters dressed as a clown".
I can see Gavinder's trial already:
I raped her in the name of God and Jesus! God told me to rape her to glorify his name and to smite the infidels and to bare witnes to the world of his all loving glory!
This has got to be some brainwashed child who still thinks he/she is invincible. Let's see what Gavinder would be saying if he/she were the one to be raped. I guess it would be ok as long as the rape was happening according to gods will. Better open those lines of communication with the rapist immediately so everyone is clear who is, or is not, sinning.
You must be nine years old mentally. I take that back. I've met some pretty smart nine year olds.
Gavinder has the mental capacity of the slime I scrape off my shoe. And much the same consistency, too.
You're forgetting, kinsmen: According to the Bible, if a woman is raped within city limits, and she doesn't cry out for help, she must be executed. In other cases, she is forced to MARRY the rapist!
Satan says "Fight, girl, grab his balls and RIP THEM OFF!"
Jesus says "Smile and forgive him and think of me."
