[a home schooled creationist kid's rant]
I don't need sources. I've studied this myself. my thoughts are original. you only regergitate whats bin cramed down your throat. the fact that you need a source for somethings just shows how little you really know about biology and I will show you whee one of these is in these very posts.

Is that random "whee" thrown into the last sentence a display of how much fun he's having getting his ass handed to him in those debates?
Demanding evidence is a whee sign of critical thinking skills, which in turns indicates that whee the poster you're responding to is of good intelligence. You cannot whee trust something is true based on the word of others -- human beings have a way of fabricating whee evidence to support their cause, or regurgitating the lies of whee others and presenting whee it as whee fact. Whee.
"I don't need sources. I've studied this myself."
Yes, in order for you to have "studied" something, you must have seen or read something beyond your own thoughts and experiences. Hence SOURCES!
"I don't need sources. I've studied this myself."
You'll still have to cite your sources unless you happen to hold advanced degrees in all the proper fields and did first hand original research that used no data of any kind from anyone else.
Unless you've just invented an entirely new field of science, cite your sources.
"the fact that you need a source for somethings just shows how little you really know about biology and I will show you whee one of these is in these very posts."
I'm not even sure what the hell you're talking about.
"Sources, we don' need no stinkin' sources"! So far you have shown me; questionable spelling ability, lack of knowledge of basic biology, lack of cited sources, and an arrogant attitude about your ignorance.PS We can have original thoughts instead of facts too. Unfortunately we call that pulling stuff out your ass and make fun of dolts who try it.
The neat thing about any science is that barring basic language barriers, experts in the same field from different cultures are on the same page and can work together.
The facts are universal.
You are caught up in the habit of fabricating random BS to cover your ignorance of the actual facts, but I suppose you have no other choice, as you haven't been authorized access to anything but fabrications.
Fabrications like, say, your strange usage of punctuation, which appears consistent (and consistently wrong). Learn the correct spelling of the words you use. If you wish to use our English language, it behooves you to learn the same conventions that most of us have learned, and apply them, as we do. Else, like any clown you only serve as a distraction.
To wit, the reality of your personal awareness is quite skewed from any functional and/or aesthetically appealing norm.
"I don't need sources. I've studied this myself. my thoughts are original."
Look at academic journals--virtually every article is a brand new thought, yet they all cite sources and/or provide new data. Even revolutionary books do this.
But how could this be?
Well, maybe even original ideas are based on something . Maybe progress is made with a grounding in fact. Maybe your ass isn't the fountain of knowledge you imagined it to be.
"the fact that you need a source for somethings just shows how little you really know about biology"
The fact that you don't know that you need a source for your claims just shows how little you know about, um, the entire world.
"I will show you whee one of these is in these very posts."
Don't threaten ME with a good time.
Brad, of course you should realize you're making our point when you write posts as badly as this one.
"Baptism! You're just dumber'n a bag of hammers!"
It takes more to being a scientician than puking up your "original" thoughts. Unless of course, you've also done original research you'd like the rest of the scientific world to review.
No? I thought not.
Yay for homeskooling!
We're fucked.
As a future teacher, I hope I never have to deal with a kid like you.
I'll have WAY too much fun failing you!
The idea behind having a source is wonderfully simple, dipshit: it shows the theory you are extrapolating has been verified and tested by others, and is therefore a fact and not some random shit you just pulled out from your anus. Clear?
My two year old sounds like this.
*Random babble* "Whee!" *Random babble*
The "whee" is for when we go around turns in the car. She enjoys it.
Yes, we must keep education away from the peasants, lest they learn to read and there is an uprising. I know, we'll tell them their god wants it this way.
whee!
Heartbrokenbrad... i'll cram something down your throat, but i'm not sure if you'll like it...
I'm thinking either a cock or a dgger with rusty yet sharp jaggered edges...
Methodology of SCIENCE:
01: Start
02: Get an idea
03: Perform experiment
04: Does evidence support idea? If NO then goto 02 else goto 05
05: Theory created
06: Use theory to better understand
07: Discover new evidence
08: Can theory be modified to explain new evidence? If NO then goto 02 else goto 09
09: Improve theory and goto 06
Methodology of RELIGION:
01: Start
02: Get an idea
03: Ignore all contradicting evdence
04: Keep idea unmodified forever
05: End
Original thoughts, original grammar, original spelling...perhaps a career in the infantry, Brad. Hell, somebody has to charge the machine gun nests. You appear qualified.
"I don't need sources."
You won't live long.
Too bad something that stupid lived long enough to post; Evidence of terminal inefficiency in killing the stupid children.
No Child Left Behind is the antithesis of what might succeed.
Or not.
"I don't need sources."
Then I don't need to listen to you, unless you get your, ahem, original research, peer reviewed and published.
Confused?
