"I've looked at dozens of videos on the blasphemy challenge, and I noticed that all the atheists have one thing in common: dark auras. If you look at them, they look dark and unhealthy. There is no light or sparkle in their eyes. It's as if they have driven the light of God out of them. Some schools of philosophy and religion assert that some people don't have souls. I don't know. But those people do not look normal. They look dark. It's hard to explain."

"The reason a person would deny the obious fact that atheists have no sparkle in their eyes or glow in their face, is because they also are victims of this same darkness. An atheist would deny this because they have no frame of reference. Having grown-up among theists, and being one myself, I can see a huge difference between believers and non-believers. Atheists have darkness written all over them. I agree that part of the reason is the utter hopelesness and despair that atheism leads to."

Bullshit! I call bullshit! I'll bet you if we lined up 20 people, half of them Christian and half atheists, you might get 50% of them right. And that's just because of the laws of averages and sheer dumb luck.
I'm an atheist. I have a job, a lovely wife, two great children and am able to put food on the table for all of them. Heck, I even have a dog (who's also an atheist).
With all that in mind, I was under the impression that I was pretty fucking ecstatic. So thanks for pointing out that I'm really living in "utter hopelessness and despair."
I guess I just didn't notice.
Cunt.
Most sick people look pale, not dark. A lack of a "sparkle in the eye" is due to computer screens and webcams.
Oh wait, that's logic, not Fundie Logic. Oh well.
"It's hard to explain."
Yes, that's because auras and souls are bullshit.

For the better part of 4 decades, my family and I have been builders, rebuilders and tuners of pipe organs. Most of these are installed in churches. I've spent more hours in church than most Christians. I've never noticed any difference in the sparkle of a person's eyes based upon whether or not they are Christian.
Atheism doesn't lead one into hopelessness and despair. The intrusions into government and one's private life by religious nitwits leads one into hopelessness and despair.
I've known one person who had that "glow" the OP talks about. She was an obviously somewhat developmentally disabled woman who seemed to talk about religion all the time, and from her general demeanor, her faith literally was her opium. I think myself and most of my coworkers more or less agreed that her elevator didn't quite reach the top floor, but she could still come out with some damn disturbing things to say from time to time (like refusing to mourn a death of a loved one because she knew they'd be in heaven).
But I was brought up among theists, so your broad statement is already proven flawed at best.
An aura is described in the dictionary as a paranormal (read-not fact) and/or 'impression'; again not an actual thing, but the idea that something is there. These things, not being real things, are by definition delusions.
So perhaps the "sparkle" you are seeing in the believers eyes is the same sparkle that other duped and deranged minds have.
Why not get God to limit the despair?? Seriously, the fundies ought to condemn the US for encouraging free thought and democracy, sicne it's the opposite of what the fundies really want. They're just Republicans and conservies, which contradicts with that....
Fundies feel nothing. Nothing but anger and random "ZOMG GOD JESUS WHATEVERS LOVES <333333<3 ME LOL!!!11112335" ecstaticness....they're no more or less hopeless than us .
Hasn't this Theo person ever seen commercials for Jesus Camp and what the kids look like in there? Then again, I'm sure fundies'd agree with what the lady running the camp taught....

Did Rover tell you than on his own, or did you have to ask him?

Y'know, I've got a few Wiccan friends, and they say they can read auras.
I have little doubt that, if Theol0gic heard them make that claim, he'd say it was from Satan.
LOL Why are fundies so quick to explain everything away with supernatural and fairy tales? I just cannot fathom how one can live with such a gaping lack of logic and reason! I don't know about other atheists, but I personally feel a lot better about life knowing that I don't have to be at church every week and pray and do all sorts of other occult type practices to avoid eternal burning and torture.
Huh. My best friend claims to read auras, and he hasn't mentioned anything weird about mine. Nor are psychics looking at me oddly.
Either auras don't exist or you've got it wrong, Theol0gic. Either way you're still a moron.
Yes...I live in complete despair, knowing I am in charge of my life, and I give it validation. I wallow in the hopelessness of being who I am, not who the rest of the flock says I should be.
Boy does my life suck...Yup...Mmm-hmm.
Confused?
