In the Bible, both Jesus and Yahweh teach that all sins are not equal. Some are definitely worse than others, and those sins will be judged more harshly. But here’s where we have to remember that our Gods judge us by one factor and that is our soul’s response to Them. Once we understand this, we can understand that an “extra bad” sin in God’s eyes has nothing to do with type of action or degree of impact on other humans. Instead, God ranks the severity of our sins by the intensity of our rebellion towards Him.

If I've understood this correctly, and I'm sure I haven't, I'm pretty much fine. My rebellion against Ms Diehl's god is nil, benefit of not believing I have anything to rebel against. Thus, as none of my sins are motivated in the slightest by rebellion against her god, none of them even rank in his eyes.
Hey guys, I'm going to heaven. It's just going to be me, Ms Diehl, and a fuckton of non-believers.
since all sins lead to Hell, one can only assume it has various circles, just like that nice Dante envisaged (as part of Catholic doctrine, I believe)
"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." - James 2:10 (KJV)
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars , shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." - Revelation 21:8 (KJV)
You're clearly a liar concerning proportional justice, especially in the CT. I hope you have fireproof underwear.

Anna, where in the bible does it say that? Here is something else to keep in mind. Unlike your god, we don't execute people for jaywalking.
Let's dump a load of sticks on her front step Saturday night, and if she picks them up on Sunday morning, we're entitled to kill her, according to her Bible.

Most of Leviticus? Notice that it doesn't prescribe death for causing stillbirth, but does prescribe it for other crimes.
So after having read much of your nonsense... Breaking a mirror after reading Harry Potter, is "in that god's eyes", punishable with eternal torment? A mirror was harmed, a person was delusional. But rape is okay because it's part of "that god's plan". A person was hateful, another was harmed. This means that yes, your flawed idea of a god is as flawed as your ideas of ethics. Human justice is more reasonable. Also, my dissent to your unjust evil "god" is not "rebellion against God", since you cannot know who "God" is, if he exists. You just know of the ones you created and they're imaginary. You also don't know "what God wants", you can only read what other people claimed and add your own claims to that. But if an actual supernatural being is watching, they may not be too happy when you speak for them? If they've not corrected you yet, maybe they just don't exist either.
Do you know that for many Christians there's the concept of purgatory, to deal with the problem of unrealistic unjust eternal suffering? Or that for other Christians, the Gehena fire garbage pit is symbolic and that the second death really means no resurrection. Like if your "soul" was burned once, not eternally. Eternal torment is more likely to lead to the evil demiurge concept, especially if many claimed to be there just missed the boat. For instance, they just didn't know of your god. They wore wrong clothing mixing linen and something else once. They drank milk with pork. They didn't believe you because you were not credible or just an asshole. You were a bad witness. Or whatever. What a waste of a god's reputation. Poor victims for being collateral damage and paying forever.
The reason human ethics and justice is superior is very simple. You're quoting from ancient human propaganda claiming to present the laws and ethics of an ancient epoch. Ignorance and injustice was the norm. Societies and ethics have continued to evolve since the time of Hammurabi. More advanced societies have better standards and ancient savagery is identifiable as such.
