"As all can see those that don't believe in a creator have a vested interest in not believing in the flood, so once again they do not need to be accountable to the creator."
I thought RL 'Jedi'* acknowledge that there is The Force, and to do good unto everyone; 'Unconditional Love' (as promoted by those who fully embraced the 'Light Side', such as Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi)?
And as Jedi embraced scientific facts (which never conflicted with their belief in the Force), they would point out to you, Blue_Jedi33, one such fact that completely destroys the concept of a 'Global Flood' (as described in the Bible), which can be summed up in just two words:
Ancient China.
And anyway, are you suggesting that, just because we Atheists don't acknowledge that 'a God' doesn't exist, then that makes him utterly powerless to 'judge' us? Do you realise the doctrinal implications of what you're saying here? You've just admitted that God isn't omnipotent, because non-belief in him has basically the same effect as covering your eyes with a towel whenever a Bugblatter Beast of Traal is around.
Ergo, Atheism is superior to God. QED. You said it, Blue_Jedi33, we didn't!
A quote from the same forum's thread (by Qui-Rune):
"What I see is that certain religions cause blindess in it's followers.
Unbelievable that a person will allow a 4,000 year old story to be interpreted as truth over up-to-date scientific evidence which disproves the story.
All because of fear of their God."
Couldn't have put it better myself.
*- Just as there are Star Trek fans that fully embrace the scenario's philosophy, conceived by it's creator Gene Roddenberry.
