(If life was all that mattered, we should outlaw cigarettes and alcohol, because they shorten life.
If life was all that mattered, according to you, we should make blood donations compulsory for all eligible donors.)
Winston Jen: You are so full of illogical nonsense that it is almost hopeless to interact with you. Nothing I say requires vitalism. But you just keep on arguing against points nobody makes. At least in that way you have a bare chance of winning the debate.

Napoleon the Clown -- That would imply some sort of superhuman dodging ability, when what this guy is really doing is more like hiding behind a wall of his own ideology and ignoring everything. You know, the whole idea that when you can't see something, it can't see you.
I'm still holding to that idea of mine that every pro lifer is obligatory to donate one kidney, one eye, the non dominant arm, part of their liver, big parts of skin and hair, as well as blood and lymph and whatever they can as often as they can.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you have to, right, asshole?
Well, cigarettes seem to rapidly be heading in that direction, at least in the United States, but I can't see them taking away alcohol.
Alcohol has been a part of human society for thousands upon thousands of years, and it's not going away just because some people abuse it. Besides, unlike cigarettes, in moderation, alcohol can actually be healthy. I'm under doctor's orders to have a glass of red wine every night. Somehow I don't think there is anyone out there with a prescription for Marlboros...
And perhaps blood donation should be compulsory. At any rate it's already ethically compulsory in my opinion.
Smoking and drinking: as long as you aren't harming others while doing it, go for it.
Blood donation, on the other hand, should be considered a civic duty.
I have a rare blood type (B-)and have been down to a hemoglobin level 6 with no blood available. I now donate regularly, blood loss is a horrible way to go.
Wesley has now pleaded guilty to cowardice by blacklisting me from his blog, and promising to delete any more messages I post there. I suppose I should be honoured.
All I said was that I'd celebrate if he was killed by someone with MND, ALS or Parkinsons.
Just because I may take joy in the anniversary of Hitler's death doesn't mean that I conspired to kill him.
I encourage everyone here to post in my stead, although you will need an account.
He´s trying to show a fact. Life is, to you, what matters, well, depends WHAT LIFE. Because, ok, I agree, abortion is killing a human being, but so is death penalty, and not many pro-lifers are against it. What´s the point?, if it´s a fetus let it live. After all, you can kill the person when it grows?. And of course this applies too. Life is what matters, only to forbid one thing, because is convenient to me, and other not. Be consequent, that´s all.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
