This isn't the first time this "pastafarian" garbage has been posted here. It is insulting to Christianity, and it's offensive. (Although many comments have been funny.)

Fair's fair. I have endless "christian" garbage shoved at me by the alphatards at work, fundtards on the web, and religious programming on TV and radio.
So unless anyone's got definitive proof that there is no FSM, that he didn't create the universe and that I'm not going to an afterlife filled with beer volcanoes and stripper factories, I'm quite happy to offend and insult both the christians and their imaginary zombie play-pal.
"It is insulting to Christianity, and it's offensive."
That's sort of the point. Though it's not all about your bizarre zombie worship beliefs you know. It's a commentary on religion in general and yours in particular.
Christianity is insulting to Christianity.
A 'thread' about the FSM ?
Hmm, wouldn't it be more like a 'noodle', or maybe a 'spaghetto'? What does one call a single one?
Notice how, despite the site apparently being 'neutral' in terms of religions, and Pastafarianism simply being a pastiche of unprovable beliefs in general, it is nonetheless "insulting to Christianity". Not just insulting to the religion, it's specifically insulting to Christians.
Ethnocentric, much?
OK, we now know, (as if we had not suspected before) that the mods at Theology Online, are too stupid to get the entire point of Pastafarianism.
@LabRat: It's kind of supposed to satirize your whole religion, not just horse patooties. It's pointing out how ridiculous religion is, not necessarily how good a person you are. So your beliefs are still being "insulted".
This pastafarian garbage is a parody of fundamentalism that people use to show how laughable and irrational your ideas are, shown from a different perspective. It's not meant to be a real religion. Of course, if you believe it's true, that sounds even more terrifying.
It is insulting to Christianity, and it's offensive.
That's nice. Guess what? You don't have the right to not be offended.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
