What "candy"? Sane economic, foreign, and immigration policy? Trump is the spoilt child, here, and for the first time people around the world are telling him, "No." Hell no he can't start a fucking trade war with half the world and demand other countries not fire back. The only possible situation I could ever see Trump being the good parent with the strength to say "no" in was if he were as hard on the F-35 as I'd heard he was - and even then, if he was, we all know it'd have solely been because "multiple millions spent on a plane that's shit compared to everything we already have from the 70s and only got past the blueprint phase because of the many many jobs created to build them? fuck that, that money could be going in my pocket instead!"
