Muslim villagers in Mymensingh, Bangladesh, eager to rid the area of the Christian work of a local pastor have gang-raped his 13-year-old daughter, the girl's father said.
Pastor Motilal Das of United Bethany Church said that on Friday (May 2) the villagers sexually assaulted his daughter, Elina Das, and left her unconscious in front of his house in an attempt to drive him and his Christian ministry out of Laksmipur village.
Local residents have long been angry with him for his ministry and evangelism, he said, and he has received death threats.
Elina Das has identified two of the rapists and could identify the others if she saw them or their pictures, said Das.
When Das initially went to police to file charges, he said, police were reluctant to register the case: Police told me that it was a false case. They also said that it was a fabricated drama. Police spoke with my daughter in filthy language and showed prurient interest in the details of the incident in front of us rather than filing the case quickly.

It seems this is a clear message from the people around you that your religion is not wanted. It is not a matter of who's faith is more peaceful, you are invading, now get the fuck out before they decide they have to fuck your daughter's eye socket to make you leave.
Dude, the story was picked up by RW from Compass Direct , a "news service" doing nothing but "persecuted Christians" stories. I'm not saying that this story is necessarily fabricated...but I'll wait until I see it somewhere credible.
Either way, there are definitely fundies involve -- either the alleged gang-rape-the-13-year-old fundies or the fundies who fabricate stories to show how persecuted they are. (Given how closely the story follows the "Muslims are savage malevolent demons who want to rape your Christian children " script, I can't say I'd be surprised to find that it's completely imaginary.)
@Professor M: False or true, you know stories like these will add to the thousands of miscelleneous case files of 'persecution', and used by organisations to collect more donations for their ministries.
If it were true, however, it still is intolerance at its very worst.
Bad people come in all varieties, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, atheist, etc.. I'm sorry this heinous event happened and that the police seem uncaring and ineffective, but it doesn't make Christianity or Islam any more or any less true. It's a shame that religions don't seem to improve human behavior.
I don't think this is true.
The only sources I can find are religious websites.
If it's real, I think that biblical punishment for a town worshiping a different god would be a nice one here.(every non-believer in the town has to be killed and the town itself has to be burned to the ground)
If you fuckheads could just agree on and follow your own peaceful religion instead of worrying about other peoples and trying to convert them or threaten them or rape them, we would be fine.
I keep trying to tell myself religion is basically neutral, it's the people that fuck it up, but for all the shit you do in His name, I'm beginning to think you just can't handle your own morality.
In case there's any questions, I'm pissed at the Muslims for degrading their religion, and sorry for what's happened to the daughter, but surprised in an annoyed way that he would bring his daughter with him to a hostile country for the purpose of evangelism. Unless they lived there and converted, which would be surprising.
I'm not a fan of proselytizing in unwanted areas, but for once the victim is a fundamentlist/fundamentalist's daughter and not the purpatrator of ignorance and violence. (I'm not trying to imply that's a good thing, either, though...)
I hope the purpatrators DIAF. Slowly. Taking your anger out on a child is not manly, it's cowardly and disgusting. F**kers.
Edit : I'd rather this be a fake story that duped me than a real story with a tramautized young woman and stupid father.
Okay, they link to Comapss Direct whose tag line is "News from the front line of persecution", and I can only find it on Christian websites.
I also find it funny that I found a story of two Hindu women named Das that were gang raped in Bangladesh.

And I ran the name through the phone book for Surrey BC, which has a very large Indian population, I got 15 results for "Das" as opposed to a "to many to list, narrow your search" for "Gill", so I don't think it's that common of a name.
Another thing I've noticed, with both stories, the names keep changing slightly, although the last name is always Das.
See, this is the difference.
FSTDT!: Harmless venting of frustration in reaction to irritating fundies.
Raping an innocent child: Immoral and violent reaction to irritating fundies.
When fundies fight fundies, innocents get hurt anyway.
EDIT: Glad to hear this is probably fake. I really am.
For all the things that are wrong with this I have to say...that christian's daughter was put into that situation by her own father. He believed that his right to spread christianity among muslims outweighed everything.
It's just like the missionaries who go into known danger zones and get kidnapped. Then, they expet the US government to bail them out and/or rescue them.
Don't take your christianity to places where it is not wanted and not welcome. If you do so, against all common sense, you deserve what you get.
This poor 13 year old, however, didn't get what she deserved. She got what her father deserved and paid for his arrogance and stupidity.
That's beyond shameful.
Well, some extravagant fundieness is involved here, that's for sure. However, some of it is in the comments section. Way to blame the victims, guys.
@Blayze Kohime
"Any of you who replied with "Its really the minister's/daughter's fault" answers are rape apologist monsters, no better than the worst fundamentalist Christians."
I'm not excusing the sick fucks for raping a child or trying to shift the blame onto the victim. I am however saying that I wouldn't drop my child off at the Newark bus station at 1 A.M. and trust an imaginary friend to keep her safe. That is child endangerment and fundi delusion.
It is interesting that muslims so often talk about honor,
but nevertheless have so many people within their ranks who, with their actions, show that that they are honorless scumbags
I don't want to defend anyone's actions here, but those of you blaming the priest need to use one of your own stock responses here; if the guy was gay and advocating for gay rights and this happened, would you still blame him or rail against the fundies? Don't just hate all religious people because they are relgious, hate the bad ones because they are bad.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
