Bury a Pig for the USA!
In one US city pagan Muslims were planning to build an armory (mosque). One night patriotic residents buried a pig on the property. That "defiled" the property and the Muslims couldn't build there. Will some patriotic American go and bury a pig at the proposed site of the mosque in New York City, please?

If my partner and I have sex on the site of a proposed megachurch, will that defile the site with teh ghey? By the way, a better argument can be made that Christianity is pagan (Trinity and all that) than that Islam is pagan.
A Pedant said "Wait Pagan Muslims, can we do that now? I'm gonna start a Baptist Zoroastrian church. "
How about ZenSunni?
Although personally I prefer the Orange Catholic Bible
That would be trespassing, vandalism, and a hate crime to boot. Patriotism!
Get over yoursleves. In the US, we can buy property and put whatever we want on it.
...bury a pig at the proposed site of the mosque in New York City, please?
But what about the 100 or so mosques in NYC that already exist?!
Muslims are not Pagans. A pagan is a wiccan or someone who believes in many gods and goddesses.
As for the pigs idea, the only pig i see is you Samuel.
Three things.
First off, you and whoever did that are a bunch of bigoted fuckwits.
Second, correct me if I'm wrong, but can't Muslims only not EAT pork? I'm pretty sure that there's nothing in their religion about not being able to move a buried pig from underneath where they're putting the foundation for a mosque.
Third, IT'S NOT A FUCKING MOSQUE! It's a cultural center FOUR FUCKING BLOCKS from Ground Zero!!
Muslims believe in many gods? Isn't that the Christians (the Trinity)?
Are you really allowed guns in a mosque? Either it's an armory, or it's a mosque (or it's just a community hall, like the one in NY).
How evil can you get? What would you say if someone peed on the crucifix or on a stack of Bibles?
Since you are apparently religious, Sammy, shouldn't you treat others as you want to be treated; respect other people with a faith as strong as yours?
As an Atheist, I am as opposed to Islam as much as I am opposed to Christianity.
But I would never, ever engage in activities like peeing on bibles, burning qurans, or burying pigs to scare off Muslims in particular.
Why wouldn't I do this? Simply because its tasteless, stupid, unhonorable and insensitive to do so.
I rather prefer to critically analyze these belief systems, finding and exposing their inherent flaws, and I try never to deviate from intellectual honesty (except in the cases when a fundie is so silly that he deserves nothing but ridicule). Thats a much, much better way to debunk and battle opposing worldviews.
Cite? Or are you just spouting conservatard nonsense?
Pigs are not Muslim kryptonite.
And it's kind of hard to bury a pig under a building that already exists.
You're calling for patriotic Americans to act in opposition to the Constitution of the United States by attempting to deny some other Americans the right to freedom of religious expression? Pretty sure real patriots wouldn't do such a thing. The sort of people you need have goals that are anathema to the ideals laid down by the Founding Fathers. You need to put a call out to "freedom hating lunatics".
In fact, you should call Rush Limbaugh, his show is a hotline to all of those types of people.
"In one US city pagan Muslims were planning to build an armory (mosque)."
What the hell is a "pagan Muslim"?
"One night patriotic residents buried a pig on the property. That "defiled" the property and the Muslims couldn't build there."
While I know that many Muslims have an extreme aversion to pigs, I find this very hard to believe.
"Will some patriotic American go and bury a pig at the proposed site of the mosque in New York City, please?"
Have at it. You've obviously buried your head in your ass so you've got some experience with such things.
Oh, lawl. There's so much fail here I don't quite know where to begin. First and foremost, there are still people going on about that mosque in New York City? Even conservative pundits have stopped harping about it. And LMAO to the idea that a mosque is actually a secret armory for Muslims, let alone the idea that Muslims are "pagan". If that were the case then they would never have gotten permission to build on the land anyway.
Will some reason-loving American go build a legitimate institute of higher learning on the proposed site of a megachurch? That way ridiculous fundies like Gipp cannot continue their brainwashing and propaganda.
Oh, so "evangelist" means "flaming douchebarrel?" I'd always wondered the definition of that word.
Oh, and "Be a Pig for the USA."
FTFY
As a former Norse Brahmanist, I'm still authorized to read vegetarian imitation chicken entrails. They tell me that both you and your plan are 100% unadulterated fail.
I have never met a Pagan Muslim. Would that be a member of the motorcycle gang of that name? Or, do they celebrate the Rites of Spring by dancing naked while facing Mecca?
I think I see an auto-correct problem there. Shouldn't that read, "pathetic residents?"
(loud falsetto) "Four hours to bury a pig?"
"Well, he wasn't dead yet...."
Why don't you just go ahead and knock the temple civic center down like Samson did? You already have the jawbone of an ass.
So, I see the Wizard made you a Doctor of Thinkology too. Congratulations. I bet you do no better than the Scarecrow when you try to quote the Pythagorean Theorem.
Okay, I'm out.
And then people wonder why so many atheists wish for a world without religion. When they aren't actively suggesting it's because we lack spirituality , that is.
In the same way most religious people are atheist towards every God except one , fundies utterly lack every spirituality that isn't their own.
Pagan=Non Abrahamic beliefs
Muslim=Islamic beliefs
Islam=Abrahamic based.
Muslim=/=Pagan
You failed hard on that one.
Also what over other Mosques?
One night patriotic residents buried a pig on the property. That "defiled" the property and the Muslims couldn't build there.
How patriotic is it to deny everyone freedom of religion as set up in the First Amendment?
Oh right, the conservative definition of "patriot" is "God-fearing Christian Republican gun owner who hates liberals."
@ TGRwulf - actually they are not allowed to even handle pig or pork products. I used to work at a mega store with a small grocery department and the islamic cashiers could choose to either wear gloves or even call another cashier to handle any pork products that came through the line. I even was working stock one time and a woman was wearing gloves in the health and beauty section "just in case" because she didn't know which soaps might be contaminated or something like that. Seems over kill to me, but unlike the texting teenagers, at least she appeared to be working her fair share.

I actually know a couple of Catholic-Buddhists. Very compassionate people.
Am I the only one that saw "bury a pig for the USA" and thought of a Hawaiian-style pig roast for the 4th of July?
The part about "pagan Muslims" is a bit of anti-Muslim propaganda: the fundies claim that "Allah" is actually a Pagan moon god, rather than the Arabic word for the same god they worship.
As for you, Mr. Gipp...CITATION. FUCKING. NEEDED. What US city was this? What night did it take place on? Can you give us the names of anyone involved? Are there any independent sources backing up your claim? ...Didn't think so. Lying for the Lord, lying for the Lord....
Pagan?
Pagan Muslims?

Great. Let me know when you plan on building a church. I'll round up as many guys as I can and have the biggest orgy your town has ever seen on the construction site.
What's that? Insensitive? Disrespectful of your religion? You don't say...
@Zeus Almighty: Not so. Fred Clark of the blog "slacktivist" is neither flaming nor a douchebarrel. Heck, he does a page-by-page dissection of the fundieism and crappy writing of the Left Behind books.
@Ensign Crusher: I'm a proud Norse Olympian and you can bring it on!
Citation needed.
Actually, if someone tried it at the community center in New York, one of the Christians (there are quite a few) involved in the project could get the pig out of there. If there weren't any Christians around, one of the Muslims would put gloves on and haul it out. Intentionally eating or touching pork is believed to be wrong, but there's a difference between that, and getting rid of a pig someone ELSE put on your property.
In fact, I can see some Muslim saying it would honor God more to go ahead with the plans than to cave to hate and ignorance of that caliber.
>Pagan
>Muslims
pick one.
Pedant and Crusher, I want in on the Zoroastrian Baptist Temple too, but please can we not re-fight Xerxes' war over again? The Sasanids were better Zoroastrians than the Achaemenids, anyway, and nothing good comes of digging up ancient history and picking fights over it. And you know we can't get at Alexander anymore.
@EonBlueTriad: I totally know Buddhist Jews. You get to call yourself a Jew if you've got the blood for it and your family hasn't forgotten that yet, even if you're faithless to your hereditary invisible lord.
I almost stopped reading at "armory (mosque)".
I'm what you would call a "militant atheist". And while I detest religion, and I don't have a shred of respect for it, I do the blaspheming and all, happily, but burying a fucking pig on their own fucking private grounds where they can practice their legal right of religious freedom? You, sir, are a disgrace.
I'd like to share with you all a beautiful thing I see on a regular basis.
I live in a town with a small Christian church right next to an Islamic mosque. The pious go to pray and treat eachother civilly as they pass by, offering blessings instead of cursing eachother as heathens. The kids play together in the daycare.
Both groups read and adhere to the parts of their scriptures forbidding them from being judgemental sociopaths spewing wrath. This beautiful exception is the only reason I don't consider religion altogether EVIL. Why is this such a rare sight?
Garlic, kryptonite, pork...
All three are used to ward off mythical beings* who are rendered helpless by their power.
*in this case grassroots Sharia invaders
@Passerby : It's not that most religious people are hateful sociopaths, it's that the the most visible ones are. Most religious folks, like most folks in general, are basically decent people who don't feel the need to shout about their beliefs to everyone who comes near, and thus don't get anywhere near as much notice as the whackjob fringe do.
1. Muslims cannot be pagans since they are an abrahamic religion. Its incredibly impossible to be a pagan muslim.
2. Which US city.
3. You do know that won't stop muslims. The ground isn't as important as you think it is to them. Oh there is a pig under our building... GOOD! As long as its not inside our building! You would be better off rubbing bacon on yourself and giving them hugs.
4. Why waste a good pig?
For the love of all that is holy, it's not a mosque. It's a community center. And, seriously, if you bury it, they'll know and stop you. And if they don't know you did it, why would they care? Come to think of it, why would they care anyway? Is bacon to Muslims like garlic to vampires?
Oh look, it's Gipp again.
You're a dick, you know that?
"Will some patriotic American go and bury a pig at the proposed site of the mosque in New York City, please?"
Why on Earth would you want to be buried alive?
I just read a Comment here saying "Only Christian practice the Golden Rule".
Is this how you do it?
Pagan Muslims? They believe in one god, you believe in a three-in-one god. You're more pagan than they are.
Making fun of Muslims actually following their holy book, are we? If someone buried shellfish in the place where a brainwashing-center (church) was to be built, you wouldn't even notice it. Nor would you care if the workers were building on the Sabbath.
You can be patriotic, American and Muslim at the same time, stupid. The US of A has no state church, ya know.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
