Why not? It’s still repeatable observations and they still publish their findings for peer review, so anyone else with knowledge on the topic can point out any errors or leaps of logic.
Which is a sight more than anyone can do with a religious vision or an ancient miracle.

Well, there aren’t too many laws that are a billion years old. But still, there’s eyewitness testimony and there’s showing the judge (and jury, you forget the jury) the evidence left behind. Being a billion years old doesn’t make anything less true. It’s still looking at the facts and coming up with the best story to explain those facts.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeell, you have an account. Most of it was recorded anonymously and attributed to divine revelation. Feel free to prove any of that. For example, one of the books attributed to Moses has a description of his funeral. G’head and prove that’s an eyewitness account.

What makes you think he’s incapable? The bible itself says God sends delusions when it’s in his interests. He says that if a prophet tell a mistruth, then God’s the one who’s the source of the mistruth. OR, maybe the prophet isn’t really a prophet. Not a lot of help. there.

No, the bible changes the truth of it. THe whole text ruins it’s own dependability.

And water isn’t wet. ‘Wet’ means things with an excess of water. ‘Wet’ water would be… more water. Water is what makes other things wet.
