Why family planning? If it's for saving the live of the mother then it is the responsibility of both husband and wife. Have we exhausted the oxygen, cultivated all the arable land or are we about to exhaust all the resource God gave us? No to family planning. Let us make as many children as God wishes us to make .They are the real joy of this life.

How many shall we make, oh powerful one ?
...
Uh-oh, he's not answering, what does that mean ?
"Have we exhausted the oxygen, cultivated all the arable land or are we about to exhaust all the resource God gave us?"
Not yet, but if we keep going the way that we are, it won't take long.
It's true, no children starve anywhere on earth, they don't die due to squalor and generally unsafe food and drinking water, thank *GOD* he loves us all enough to give everyone such bountiful resources.

Apart from the oxygen part, yes!
Yeah, I see what you're saying...
*takes aim*
Make as, uh, as many uh...
*fires*
"OH GOD MY BALLS OH GOD NO WHAT THE HELL!!"
Turn in your card, you're not allowed to reproduce anymore.
Children are a joy, that's why I have two so I have TIME to enjoy them.
If there is an all powerful god who wants you to have a dozen kids it won't matter what method of birth control you use.
Who is going to support them? What jobs will the get when they grow up? Where will they live?
Apparently, there is no problem until it slaps you in the face. Pro action is better than reaction when it comes to sustainable life on the planet.
Right. If all the world's resources were evenly divided amongst the entire world population, so that everyone had the same share of what was available:
You would eat only what you grew yourself or in your neighborhood, which would be a collection of 500 square-foot row houses housing at least 7 people each. No one would have their own vehicles, and would have to generate their own power with wind turbines or waterwheels.
(figured by using http://www.earthday.net/footprint and finding the answers that would result in an ecological footprint of 1)
Evolution can be a bitch sometimes. The people who recognize overpopulation and are limiting their family sizes are being outbred by the ignorant idiots who believe it's our duty to literally fill the earth to standing room only.
Maybe because some people can't afford to feed themselves, let alone a bunch of rug rats.
But you fundies are more concerned with potential lives, than with the people who are actually alive and walking the earth right now.

Unless they're girls, of course. Based on this bozo's location, only sons have any value. Girls are just a drain on the household economy, with their only value being the sons they'll birth later.
Damn, there are days when I wish men had to endure every other pregnancy. Trust me, no family would have more than 3 kids - 2 if he had the first one.

Yes, we're increasingly running out of "smart". So much so that only a small percentage of the population has any "smart" at all. Scientists have discovered a way to make more "smart", but it involves planting a little seed of "smart" into young children and giving it time to grow and develop. Unfortunately, people who have no "smart" appear to get very upset when they hear of children getting "smart" when they are not. These "smart"less people then create organisations to lobby to keep their and other children from getting any "smart" at all, preferring that everybody be without "smart" rather than they be shown up as lacking it.
We call those organisations "religions".
I believe China said something similar a few years ago, even went so far as to pay people to have more kids! Now China is the single largest country on this planet and I'm sure you've seen pictures of crowds in their cities. Is that seriously what you want? Sooner or later we're going to reach a point where this planet can no longer sustain us. What will it be then, Hamid? Llottery to see who suffocates? Draw straws to see who doesn't get their cup of rice?
They are the joy of life...............until their parents decide to abandon them in the street because, although we haven't screwed the whole planet, their pockets are suffering comma(and regarding the very first comment about the life of the mother, which is vague and contradictory as hell, I think that you're not very smart to upbring not even one)
"cultivated all the arable land "
Hey Hamid, take your family to Saudi Arabia and grow food for them in the desert.
What there's no water? Try that continent at the south pole. There's lots of water and nobody living there.
@Truthuser: God gave His answer; NONE!.
@#493039: So, now the Chinese only allow one child per family, and refuses to warn against smoking. Yeah, they're that desperate (and cynical).
Have we exhausted the oxygen, cultivated all the arable land or are we about to exhaust all the resource God gave us?
By the time our grandchildren's generation comes around that may be a reality.
Let us make as many children as God wishes us to make .
Or instead of increasing our species numbers and make food and water supply even worse, you could ADOPT, unwanted children.
You can be partly responsible for overpopulating the Earth and all the problems that come with having a very large population that no longer has a base capable of supporting it if you want. I'ma gonna use condoms and oral contraceptives, at least until I'm at a point in my life where I can provide a good upbringing for kids should I choose to have them.
Meanwhile, in some conservative think tank:
"Why financial responsibility? If it's for financing the military or giving the banks huge profits then it is the responsibility of both people and government. Have we exhausted all creditors? Aren't people still lending us money? Cannot we start the printing presses if necessary? No to financial responsibility. Let us spend as much money as possible on wars and bailouts as the industry bosses wish us to do, and not ask for anything in return like taxes. This is the real joy of this life."
