BTW, has it never occurred to you that these Aliens might just be very good-living inhabitants of another galaxy, come here to bestow great benefits of goodness to better our lot - perhaps even inspired to do this by your (posited) god? In which case, you could be flying in the face of your god by not receiving them well. Remember the sin of your sister Sodom... lack of hospitality! Now would you want to be blasted into your eternal lake of fire for the same kind of sin?
Oh, and btw, why is it only a lake. One would have expected at least an ocean of fire.
Now, back to the nitty-gritty: how do you know that there is an armada of alien ships heading towards us? What is your proof? Have you been in contact with them? Are you, perhaps, a Fifth Columnist? You seem to know a lot about their 'Plans', so you must be anti-American. Anti-human, even. Are you sure you are not an alien yourself, like in the TV programme, where they used to peel off their human disguise and show themselves as reptiles?
Then 'shocked out of our minds'. Too late. We are certainly shocked by the way fundies show themselves to be out of THEIR minds.
Rapture: a doctrine that stems from the mid 1800s. Many generations of Christians, from the time of the founding of that religion until then, never ever heard of it. Suddenly, in a redneck backwood of the US, it takes off. It is pure heresy. The scriptures were never interpreted like that for 1800 years and suddenly this Pallas springs fully armed from the head of Zeus.

Deal wisely - I don't think wisdom is a strong point with fundies. They don't have the wisdom to see when they are being conned by dubious preachers that seem endlessly to be 'doing the dirty' on their flock one way or another (money, sex whatever).
