If Christians take over the country to that extent I will willingly and happily leave on my own. If the right-wing extremist movement tries to back it's way up my ass any farther than it already has with it's unbearable legislation, idiotic war and endless lobbyist butt-kissing, I would probably be long gone. The US military is powerful by way of it's money and technology (it is far from being the best trained, and China's military is larger).
If the fundies got in, the economy would go tits up, as would the academia, so the money and technology would soon dry up.
