I love it when a fundie discovers - much to his horror - that women are not the caricatures of evil or purity he expects them to be, and are in fact humans with real needs and desires. Watching his head explode is the best part.

Missie: It does. I went to a strip club where there were women on one side of the room dancing and men on the other. I went to watch the women (I just swing that way sometimes, you know. ;)) I didn't want to watch a bunch of mostly-naked men sweating, doing chin-ups, and t-bagging whoever was sitting on the chair on the stage. That's basically all they were doing, and it was considered 'dancing'.
I'm all for fine looking nekkid men. But fine looking nearly-nekkid men strutting on a stage just makes me giggle - and not in the "I'm so embarrassed I'm here!" kind of way.

I've heard this attitude termed "The Madonna-Whore False Dichotomy" (nothing to do with the singer), but I've never understood how it arose. After all, at every point in history half of the population have been living counter-examples.

If you're talking about professional exotic dancers, you're probably right--they're doing what they get paid to do.
