"God isn't so bad after all when you're spending eternity dwelling in your misery. Hell is not a place anyone should want to go, and I think people who say they wish to go there don't know enough about it to make an informed decision."
One word: masochists. [/smartarse]

"I like to put it this way: you make something. A drawing, a painting, a virtual avatar. Whatever it is, you make it. Then one day, it decides that it doesn't like you so much. Forget that you're responsible for it's existence, it doesn't like your rules. It wants to forget anyone created it or give the credit to someone else."
Bad Analogy of the Year award, much?
"As for God telling people to worship Him or go to hell... that's not exactly what he's aiming for."
Yes it is. Either you agree with me, or get your fucking teeth kicked in so far, you'll be having to use Preparation H for toothpaste. Your choice. [/Sauce for the Goose]
I love the smell of annihilated arguments in the morning. Smells like... victory.
'weirdthatway'. I nominate him for the 'Most Appropriate Screename' Award.

"If I created a painting and it decided that it doesn't like me then that could quite possibly be the greatest work of art ever created. I would become an overnight success and every woman would want to sleep with me.
In answer to your question: NO, I would not tear that painting into pieces. Anyone who would is an idiot."
Centuries ago, canvas was very expensive (even for artists who were supported by rich commissioners/patrons). weirdthatway has never heard of the concept of 'Old Masters'.
The founder & head of the Butlins holiday camp empire, Sir Billy Butlin, after WWII (and his camps, taken over by the various armed forces for troop/personnel training/transit etc, then handed over) bought up artworks here & there for a song. In later years, some of them were discovered to be Old Masters, worth millions. Auctioning such, he was able to reinvest this unexpected windfall into refurbishing & expanding his existing camps, and buy/build more hotels to add to his business empire. To say nothing of donations to many good causes, nay, set up his own charitable foundation.

So I guess that fact only serves to further prove weirdthatway's fail, and annihilate his argument even more.
