To illustrate, on July 7th 2005, Muslims murdered 52 victims in London, including 27 white Britons. On October 8th 2005, a massive earthquake (7.6+ on the Richter Scale) struck Kashmir and 75,000 Muslims died, catapulated through the gates of "hell and death" when the Lord Jesus Christ unlocked them.

'Allah' couldn't lift a finger to prevent the calamity.

I believe that the two events are not unconnected and that Christianity's Founder is responsible for earthquakes, Numbers 16:30-32.

To illustrate how insane your thinking is alanorei, on 11th September 2001, Muslims murdered 3000 people (including many white Americans; some of whom were Christians) when two airliners hit the World Trade Centre, ultimately causing it's collapse.

'God', 'Jehovah', 'Yahweh', 'YHWH', call him what you will, couldn't lift a finger to prevent the calamity.

I can only come to one conclusion:

Wait. "Christianity's Founder"? Huh. I'd have thought you were referring to Jesus, but Numbers 16 is about Moses praying to Yahweh to smite a group of rebels. Is Moses Christianity's founder then? Or is Yahweh? Because, they seem to be as much the founders of Christianity as they are of Judaism and Islam.

Okay, so Numbers 16. Some of the Israelites (led by Korah, Dathan, and Abiram) decide to rebel against Moses because:

"And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?" (Num 16.3)

So, the rebels are upset because they thing that Moses and Aaron have taken too much power for themselves and that God dwells amongst all the Israelites. And they think that Moses has led them into the desert where they are going to die and don't respect him. At this point in time, after the mana and the golden calf and all that, this is kind of stupid of them. But it’s not like they are turning away from God either. It’s Moses and Aaron they are upset about. The rebels even go to worship God in the tabernacle (and Moses tells God to ignore all their offerings). Apparently Moses really doesn’t like this. So Moses and Aaron get all the real, true Israelites out of the tabernacle the rebels built, so that he can call upon God to smite the rebels.

Yeah! This has so much to do with the 75,000 people who died in Kashmir.

Actually, other than the fact that if God caused both of these deaths he would be a complete and total bastard, what does this have anything to do with the deaths in Kashmir?

I don’t think that the earth opening like a pit is an accurate description of most earthquakes, but setting that aside, God sends the earthquake because he wants them to die an unnatural death so that it’s clear that they were killed by God because they offended God. That may have been all well and fine in Moses day, but God is a bit of a slacker today, because we have this thing that explains earthquakes perfectly naturally today. It’s called plate tectonics.

The translation quoted was the King James Version because, although it may not be the most accurate or understandable version, it seems that it's the one most fundies prefer. Because I was to lazy to hand type out that passage from Numbers by hand, I copied and pasted it from biblegateway.com.

On a completely different note, I've just noticed this was posted on a blog called "21st Century British Nationalism."

Strange thing, I tend to have a fairly high opinion of Britain. It's probably because some of my favorite authors are British and all of the Brits I've met in real life have been incredibly nice people. Funny thing -- none of them have considered themselves "British Nationalists" -- I've only run across "British Nationalists" on the internet and most of them seem to be rather nasty and stupid. (Maybe there are intelligent and kind people who consider themselves "British Nationalists" out there. Maybe I've just come across all the stupid and nasty ones.) Funny thing that, the people who call themselves "British Nationalists" seem to be the worst possible representatives for Britain.

I did originally plan to rebut this individual's claim with facts and reason, but then I realised that nothing I could possibly say would change his warped worldview.

You are quite right. The only people here in the UK who describe themselves as nationalists are those connected to the various political movements primarily descended from Oswald Moseley's fascists of the 1930s. The leaders of these modern movements (when not completely absorbed with party infighting) can be quite subtle and nuanced in stating their aims, but time and time again their words are given the lie by the behaviour of their followers, who are predominantly racist, ignorant, hateful and violent.

[ ] 9/11 - as with 7/7 - happened. Ergo, your 'God' (and that's 'Jehovah', 'YHWH' - who is 'Allah', as said Professors of Theology will tell you) - doesn't exist.
