First off, because the US, well, parts of it at least, is a civilized country.
Btw, since you're asking: how many "muzzie-owned American convenience stores" have you burned down already? None? Gee, you must be part of Romney's 47%, always expecting others to do things for you.
When they do it, they're a bunch of uncivilized, barbaric, savage animals. When we do it, we're fighting for goodness and freedom.
Because "muzzies" living in America have nothing to do with what a bunch of radical Islamists and vandalizing kids are doing in Libya and Egypt.
If anyone should have anything on fire, it's the stupid git who decided to disrespect and degrade the second-largest religion in the world. Sure, there should be freedom of speech, but with freedoms come responsibilities.
A. Because most people have more reason, decency, and good sense.
B. Because arson, a capital felony at common law, still is one if anyone dies of this vandalish spite, and even if not, can leave you with a monotonous striped view for years and years and years.

Answer: because for most people it is a lot harder to commit acts of violence than it is to anonymously cheer them on. For some, it is hard because they are civilized. For some it is hard because they are cowards.

Because we respect the rule of law. Here's a hint. The rule of law is what differentiates the civilized from barbarians.
The Libyan's promise to find and arrest the rioters responsible shows they're trying to institute the rule of law as well. We should applaud them for that.
Actually, I don't believe the answer I gave above. I think the true answer is because most people are sane and law-abiding.

Not enough? How about the funding that Christians in the US gave towards the IRA that enabled hundreds of bombings of CIVILIAN targets for decades? Or the innumerable amount of kidnappings and murders carried out by the IRA... again, funded by CHRISTIANS IN THE US.

Muslim fundamentalists attack embassies in countries on the other side of the world. Therefore, we should trash our country by destroying businesses and creating millions of dollars in damages. This will punish the people who attacked our embassies.
