Why, exactly?
Listen carefully; There. Is. No. Homosexual. Movement. There are only a lot of individuals, gay and straight, and everything in-between and outside, fighting together for human rights. There are only people wanting to be accepted for who they are, as it doesn't harm anyone. You're the only one showing any hate or rage, tyranny or persecution. The oh so secret hidden plan is to be able to live their lives in peace, and to get you to mind your own business .
Well have fun with that. You'll almost certainly never be physically attacked, let alone killed, for your words, unlike if you're gay. Since you're in for a long, hard stand against the tide, why not strengthen yourself with some inspirational reading? The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha is right up your alley!
Edit: Also, I just noticed the projection and irony in Trestin's "hate and rage" claim, when the far right was launched into political prominence by Karl Rove's ilk planning to deliberately prod and stoke conservatives' "hate and rage" points-things like guns, abortion, and gays. I am glad people like Trestin have ended up splitting the Republican party instead of powering it into complete takeover, at least.

I see this as more sad than anything. I mean, in our whole lives, we will stand for some concepts and we'll stand against others. Fine. But to define your entire life based upon that which you oppose (rather than support) seems like such a waste. Why define yourself as something you're not (rather than something you are)? It doesn't even matter what that something is.
How can you claim to not persecute gay people, while also claiming to stand against us?
This guy has to have mental issues, because no one sane, no matter what they believe, does stupid shit like going on a hunger strike against homosexuality or believes himself to be a powerful foe to the "homosexual movement". You can't do shit, even the powerful Republican politicians are beginning to realise they can't stop society from moving on.
Or...are we trying to hide something here?

Alencon: I think the argument goes something like, "They'll stop me and those like me from firing them and denying them benefits, and my interpretation of my religion mandates that I treat them like that, so if they get rights then I lose mine, so they obviously want to deny me my rights to deny them their rights."
