My daughter had me in tears yesterday and I had her in tears. We are in the middle of a storm. I have been praying but feel like nothing is happening. I don't know what to expect daily. I've changed so much (for the better) and it's like the enemy is using her, she's a weak link in my life who doesn't read her Bible, pray? I don't know and barely pays attention in church, but he's using her to twist a knife in my chest. I don't want the old me who might put her out, cuss her out or slug her, to come out, but its getting hard! Help me Lord! Help us all!!

Ok... so your daughter isnt as much of a fundie as you are, therefore she is being used by the enemy? So you are parying that you will not hit said daughter because SHE is the weak link? I would hope you are going to therapy for this, and no, your pastor does not count.
Oh No! Your daughter is a teenager! It must be 'the enemy' that makes her act like that!
Oh, yea, totally, kick her out on the street after you punch her and cuss out her. That will convince her to come back to the fold. Fantastic parenting skills. She's learning to think for herself, and you want to punch her.
Why are you limiting yourself to thinking about putting her out, cussing her, or hitting her? The biblical way of dealing with unruly children is to kill them (but you have your choice of using stones or bear attacks to do it). If you do less, you're shirking your duty as a bible-believing christian.
Teenagers are supposed to rebel.
Deal with the rebellion properly, and the tone of absolute defiance will diminish.
By "dealing with it properly", I mean, accept it and, believe it or not, support it. It's an emotional growing pain that everyone experiences.
You need counseling, now, before you start hitting your daughter. The fact that in your mind she is already to blame for what you are about to do to her clearly shows you can't wait until your fists start flying.
"I have been praying but feel like nothing is happening."
Good. Realizing prayer is ineffective can be the beginning of your escape from religious delusion.
"Help me Lord! Help us all!!"
No. Stop! That's backsliding. Remember, ImHis, as you discovered, prayer is ineffective. Don't keep calling on that imaginary God. As a fictional character, he can't help you.
An excellent, but tragic, example of how incredibly weak religiously derived "morality" really is. You've not become a good person since you got religion, you're still the vicious, violent, intolerant person you always were and struggling to keep yourself under control because you're afraid of breaking your god's simplistic laws.
The trouble is, your god's laws only forbid certain generic things, they don't actually tell you what to do as an alternative, so you're stuck - you don't want to break the rules, but your lack of internal moral development means you can't think of any way out of the situation except by doing so.
Daughter doesn't tow the line:
(a) I did a lousy job raising her, or
(b) I'm full of shit and she's right, or
(c) Demons have infected her and are making her not do what I want.
Dad naturally chooses (c) - the alternative where he's right and she's wrong.
This is my least favorite aspect of fundies, at least the one's I know. They remove themselves from the equation of influencing their own lives or those of their families. Everything good is God's will or God's reward for them raising their kids correctly. Everything bad is Satan's work or someone outside leading their child down Satan's path. They can never say "the kid's made their own choices and disagreed with mine" or "I messed up and drove my kid away". It is sad.
What you need is a firm grip on reality. Praying doesn't work.
No one knows exactly to expect daily, but that doesn't mean you live in fear of it. If you don't stand up to it, it will own you.
There is no satan, this non-entity is clearly NOT controlling anyone much less your daughter. Your daughter is not you, and she has her own road to follow. You can't do it for her, and if you try to force her she will rebel, that's what they do.
You claim to have changed for the better yet you are afraid of the "old you" to come out. It would stand to reason that you are not much better. You may need the help of a professional.
"The old me who might put her out ...." ?
As in "PUT OUT?" as in inc... oh wait, of course. its the biblical thing to do, why am I even surprised...
"I have been praying but feel like nothing is happening."
Well, that should give you the idea that you should stop talking to yourself.
Confused?
