To be recognized as truth is the very reason you need proof.

If it isn´t religion, convince your pastor that he has to pay back several years of taxes, which he didn´t have to pay due to tax exemption status. Tax exemption status is for religions only, so he obviously wrongly received it.

If it looks like a duck, and it sounds like a duck, then it's most likely a duck. You can call it an elephant all you want, but it's still a duck, your claims to the contrary notwithstanding.

Why? What makes you think that your assertion that "It is truth " magically absolves you of having to provide proof for your claim? If it is so obviously true then why do you feel the need to avoid having to provide proof for your claim? It is indicative of your self delusion and your arrogance. If you want to claim that something as expansive as the entirety of the bible is irrefutably true then you need to bring something more to the table than "because I said so ".
If you want to accept the bible on faith, that's fine, I see no problem with that, millions of people of hundreds of religions do just that. But if you want to to make claims that it is 100% fact then there is no reason that you should expect to not be called out on the lack of evidence for your claim, and if it's true then you shouldn't have any trouble proving that. But is not true and it can't be proven, and you know that.
But hey, why let a little intellectual dishonesty get in the way of your religious agenda?

Exactly, proof is not needed and nor will it ever be forthcoming. Religion is only for those who are comfortable with having a faith in odd beliefs. Nothing wrong with that per se, it depends on what the odd beliefs are or where they lead you astray.
I don't even ask for proof, but a little evidence would be nice. Something to hang your hat on other then "It is truth".

'Truth' = Subjective. 'Truth' = Lies. Facts = Objective. Facts are based on evidence. Facts = Facts. Your 'Truth' = Lies. Lies =/= Proof. Which means the Bible = LIES. Thus God = LIE. Therefore God is a contradiction to himself.
Ergo, God doesn't exist.
