I have had to settle for now with speaking up when there is a chance that a reader who is REALLY struggling with the idea (and headed toward suicide because of it) might need to hear a little grace.
Just stop with the stupid emoting. If you really want to stop gays from killing themselves, then force them back in the closet and drive home how unacceptable the behavior is.
They tend to kill themselves out of guilt and shame for their ACTIONS. No one feels guilt and shame for successfully resisting temptation. So, anything you do to help them continue wallowing in their behavior is going to increase the amount of suicide.
Face it. The real basis of your argument is that you are a woman and you hate to make people feel bad. Which is both normal and fine, but stop dressing it up in logically backwards appeals to possible suicide.

In fact it is simply your behavior that is unacceptable. You are twisting things you have no idea of to fit your abhorrent ideology. You are the lowest of the low, the most pathetic excuse for a human being I've seen right after watching the news talking about Donald Trump, and he at least has the decency to be somewhat of a showman. You are just hilariously inept and one step away from being the less interesting half of a bad comic book villain, lacking any form of wit.
Just look at these sentences here that you've strung together haphazardly: First arrogantly stating that YOU of all people know what's going on in other people's heads (a Macintosh from the 80s has a higher chance of deducing what human emotions are all about than you), then arguing that it would be best for a group to be shunned and isolated, then the obvious victim blaming and then, as if you just HAD to fill your own personal "How to come across as a massive douchebag" list, you blamed the sex of your discussion partner for her having another opinion than you.
The only thing that makes you slightly bearable for any rational and empathic human being is the fact that you will never be in charge, never be in power and when you are finally gone you will be lucky if we remember you, let alone anyone else in the world. And you will have accomplished nothing. And that's how it should be.

No, VD, it's the oppression and persecution that makes people commit suicide. Pushing gays back into the closet will INCREASE the suicide rate.
Their ACTIONS are mostly the same as the ACTIONS of straight people. Wake up, eat breakfast, take the kids to school, go to work, buy groceries, make dinner, watch telly, put the kids to bed, end the day with some satisfying 69-sex with the husband/wife, and then sleep.

Their actions which you keep driving home how unacceptable they are, and from you trying to force them back into the closet. This constant mantra of "there's something wrong with you" is what's led to gay people committing suicide.
Also, "their actions" and "unacceptable behavior" which for some reason is perfectly OK if it's a man & woman doing it.
Back in 1996 a British man went into a school and shot all the kids he could, then did himself in.
