However, if you look at pictures of female athletes who play sports or observe them on the playing fields, you will notice that many develop strong, muscular bodies. Female athletes also sneer, wince, push, and fight just like the men. I notice these things all the time in pictures in our hometown newspaper. The sneers are most obvious; they make young women very unfeminine. The masculine uniforms and sweaty bodies aren’t very attractive, either.
I also notice when driving by our public school grounds and sports fields another phenomenon taking place: the young girls are trained in sports right along with the boys. To me, this can only be degrading to the boys. In some cases, girls regularly participate on boys' sports teams, and therefore compete against the boys themselves. During the past decade, more and more girls participated in wrestling; since there were no girls' wrestling teams, they joined the boys' teams and competed against the boys. I read about one school where the boys refused to wrestle the girls and forfeited their matches; there could be no greater embarrassment to them than to lose to a girl, not to mention it likely violated their sense of masculine chivalry. So not only is female sports participation degrading the feminine nature of women, in many cases it degrades the developing masculinity in boys.

OK, to excell at sports one needs to get in shape, which can involve developing muscles to a point YOU may find unfeminine. And, when one gets smacked into on the basketball or volleyball court on is entitled to wince and then sneer at the smacker.
So, I can´t play chess with my male friends(as I often do), or squash with my father because they are so nose-ups, according to you, and they can´t stand a defeat by a woman?, it´s their problem. The only thing against co-ed sports is with the highly physical contact sports, where the fact that girls tend to be smaller than boys can cause injuries. Girls should be banned from wrestling because it would be embarrassing for boys to lose against girls? Since you imply (and experience proves) that girls can beat boys in wrestling, you're suggesting that we ban skilled wrestlers from the sport in order to protect the feelings of the less skilled. You're suggesting that we arbitrarily restrict who can wrestle in order to make sure that a favorite group isn't fairly bested by someone with greater skill. In nearly any sport, that's considered "cheating."

Truth is, Scott is right on. See, it all depends on where you get your idea of truth. If you beleive in God as creator of the universe and his divine revelation (which obviously most people don't today) then you will see that God made male and female. He made them equal but with different roles. The problem with our society is that we have so blended the differences that, being male or female and fulfilling those biblical roles has become "out of date" or "not cool". God doesn't want us to be cool. He wants us to be obedient. Now in a society such as ours today which is in rebellion to all authority it seems, this just doesn't go over well. But, I guaranty that if you follow God's word, He will show you how to live in this world and you will be blessed, not only in this life but in the one to come.
